You don't enjoy work. If you do then +1 to you like Skater said, but you work for a reason. Hard work isn't for the sake of hard work, it's for the reward. You work half your life so you can enjoy the other half. Some might argue that you can't do what you did in your youth once you retire, which is true. But you're at a point in your life where you don't care about those things, you just want to have peace for the rest of the time you're on this Earth. And your youth paid off for allowing forself to have that peace.

And there is no proof that heaven or hell exist, it is a very believable theory, but there is absolutely no proof about it, as with most religious things.

You can't really prove there is such a place like hell or heaven. I don't believe it anyway, and the currently status of earth is just our mistake.

I also agree. Unless your one of the million people who are ignorant to this place you realize this is a terrible world and that humans are creatures that should be wiped out of existance.

Life is what you want to make of it. If you want to be negative nancy then yes, your time here will not be pleasant.

Life, existance, this universe, its all there is. Once you die you are still apart of this universe, why you think you will get a one way ticket out of reality is beyond me...

Edit: IF life is so bad, take drugs. while its a short term fix and leaves u feeling even worse after, its still worth it.

 

No you are wrong. The majority of earth lives in pain/hunger and other bad things. There's one billion people that can't afford a good meal for one day.

Ontopic: I think this world's just a test, your getting through good and bad things.

 

It kind of angers me on how you type and explain yourself, but I disagree with you.

I find it blind arrogance that you failed to name every feature that resembles what your "Afterlife" is, is actually already on Earth.

If anything, I'd think that Earth is a combination of Heaven and Hell.

Earth is only hell if you allow it to be. Life is unfair, unjust and cruel. However, you just need to look past this, or you will always be miserable.

Some people may say that this is nothing but blind optimism, but what else can you really do? The only thing you can do is try to improve the things that are causing the corruption in an attempt to stop the world from being so hellish. However, there has always been struggle, and I have a feeling there always will be.

As for those saying that "no afterlife exists," please do not post. I would hope that we have all established that you cannot prove that something does not exist.

 

Actually, in some religions life is hell. In the sense of "not heaven".

Buddhists believe that there are two options when you die. If you've had a good life, you achieve Nirvana. If you've been naughty, you're are punished by being born again.

It's not the lake of burning sulfur, but it is your punishment for not living a decent life.
