How much is a vpn that runs 1 simba/scar/rid bot cost per month?

 

A VPS?
Windows for about $10-20
Linux for about $5-15

 

Whats the difference in them?? Windows vs linux

 

vps is a private computer that you can bot. VPN is basically you using some one else's IP to sneak paste without people knowing who you are.

Linux is longer to setup but simba should work in both. And tbh you don't really need it because simba have smart.

Can you use RID on a VPS?

 

If i use a vps to bot, does that mean i need a good pc/internet connection? Can i effective bot on a vps with a bad internet connection

 

Everything on VPS is running in the VPS, and most VPS have at least 1mbps so you'll be fine.

It will just affect the VNC frame rate.

 

Ok so im going 2 start up a botting service on here using RID, i currently have a $30 budget to spend on a VPS, any tips or help that could be given will be appreciated a HEAP!, tysm for anyone who replies, and could you add my msn [email protected] because ill probs need more help

 

Most Windows VPSes are a good $30 a month, so this doesn't seem a viable option. Why can't you just run the scripts from your home PC?

I'd personally advise you to go with Photon. I say this because I have dealt with them in the past having spent hundreds of dollars on VPS' with no problems and a good customer service. They are reliable and have virtually no down time. And most importantly they allow Runescape botting, which is the main thing. You don't want to buy a VPS only to find out your subscription gets cancelled because you have violated their terms and conditions. Just make sure you use the XEN packages, as they are the only ones which allow the running of Runescape bots.

Apart from that, I vaguely remember seeing various members on the RID forum offering VPS services, this could prove helpful as they will help you if you are not able to set up the bot on your own on a Linux system (what Photon will be using as an OS). I doubt there will be many guides on the internet or very many willing people who have the knowledge to help you set up the bot.

 

I am currently using windows 7 OS, if i buy a XEN VPS from photonvps, will it be easy to install on my system. (looking to use simba)

Do you have any knowledge on how to use Linux?

 

You can always get help on Villavu to set it up but if you have no knowledge in Linux, it takes a good time.

 

Anyone know a VPN called Overplay? I've heard they're pretty good, I might get a VPN soon.
