about how many bots can you run on a 1.5-2g of ram?

 

1.5 I would say 3 minimum and 2 I would say 4 minimum. Dont buy from somewhere that oversells, like botvps and stuff. You wont get your moneys worth at all. Photon and Seerhost are the two best.

 

On two i wouldnt say 4 MINIMUM but rather 4 MAX. Back when i had 2 warp 3s i had 1 that could support 4 nexus bots max, 1 that could support 3 nexus bots max. Any more and clients would crash. Based off of how my warp 4s are all running 7, i would say 3-4 is your best bet on 2gb

Well if you're paying $5 for a VPS and you can even launch the client it's because you're using burst RAM, which is essentially extra resources that you don't have full control over. The minute someone else tries to use the burst ram you're going to crash. I'm surprised volumedrive hasn't banned RS yet...it's probably destroying their service to website owners.

 

I am running 4 bots without any issues on my warp 3 right now. And one is SW and one is LRC. If I used 5 non cpu intensive bots, Im sure I could keep them running on my warp 3.

 

I need some help with my Photon VPS so badly, I bought the Warp 2 Package 1GB RAM, but I can't run 2 kMiner bots :/
Whereas my friend can. I have the same settings as him, and everything downloaded and installed the same.
I can run 1 Unsigned but no more
I hoped to have a little duo goldfarm for 2 Living Rock Caverns miners but now it's all gone to waste.
I try to run a Signed and an Unsigned, but the Signed bot screen goes black.
I try to run a Signed bot on it's own and I still get a black screen.

I've edited the run Linux file and even changed the Xmx1000 to 500 then 400 then 200 and it still wont run 2 bots.

Please help, I don't wanna waste all this money, and any help would be really appreciated

 

use 2 clients on signed... load 1 first and as it loads, spam the s button for "safety mode" I have to do it every time I get a new vps. After that, turn the settings to min and fixed. Now turn on the second one. Should work fine.

Also, when loading turn all the settings to the left. Once it is loaded, set them to the right. Hope this helps!

 

Okay, I really didn't feel like running through 57 pages of info, so anyone got a tip for me? I want a good VPS that isn't too expensive, but that can run multiple bots 24/7

 

The only two VPS I would recommend to anyone are Seerhost and PhotonVPS. PhotonVPS is the better of the two, however it is more expensive. It will allow you to run bots 24/7 no problem. There is a link in my sig if interested.

Seerhost on the other hand is cheaper, but it has more downtime, and the customer service isn't as good as Photon.

 

I manage to run 8 bots with warp 4 and 4 bots on warp 3 from phothon vps very smooth, my only complaint is the laggyness, but thats probably couse I'm in europe.

 

Seerhost has almost 0 downtime, has customer service targetted at botters, and has over 25 testimonials. And yes, we're cheaper.
