Guys I've had my warp 3 vps for months and everything has been smooth. Somehow I jacked it up though -.- I lost my toolbar at the top of my screen that shows minimized screens! And I also lost the toolbar at the bottom of my screen that lets me click shutdown, restart, etc. Look at this and how can i get them back? cent os photon vps warp 3..

have you tried rebooting it? There is some sort of command like vncserver -kill :1 or something like that that shuts it off. Or just submit a ticket on the main page and have them reboot it

 

how do i install rsbuddy on a photon vps? is it possible?

ive installed rsbots correctly but everytime i get to the part where it fetches scripts it just stays at either 0% or goes to 1% and stays. is this normal? also this is first time running it and can i close my vnc viewer and will the bot will continue? thanks

 

I'm still having the problem I asked photon and they rebooted my vps but my task bar and bar at the bottom that says shutdown and restart and hibernate just totally disappeared. How do i get tabs back??

 

When you are loading it, spam the S key until the GUI for the bot shows up. That will put it into safe mode. It takes a while the first time, but after that it works fine

The RSBots issue could be an issue with their client, please check their official forums to see if their bot is down.

Yes, if you close your VNC Viewer the VPS will still run. The Viewer is just that: a Viewer, your way to see what's happening on the VPS. If you close the Viewer and shut down your computer, that won't shut down the VPS.

 

its not a problem with the client as i cant even go on runescape through firefox as it says missing plug ins when i go to the game.

however when i load the bot it gets stuck on fecthing updates. this is still happening even after i last nights update

 

You can't go on RS on firefox because Java is not "plugged in" with firefox. You can use a symbolic link to do this and there are a few other ways but if you don't have much experience with Linux you probably won't get too far.

Try just letting it load, restarting the client, redownloading the client, or just waiting and trying at another time.

Hello just one quick question, I would like to get a VPS but I dont know what mininmum req it must have to run 1 bot properly. So would warp .25 work? Or should i get warp .5? Im looking from Xen VPS

I already talked to him about this via pm. Warp .5 will not run a bot

 

would it be possible to add some type of poll to this thread so its easier to know what people think about the poppular vpses isntead of having to read through all these posts
