Vista transparency on xp..w/o wb?

Is it possible? I don't want to use windowblinds because it sort of slows down my comp..as in like 20% slower than without it. And i tried finding msstyles of vista themes but theres no transparency involved. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Don't even try, i have vista, it is horrible. Just keep XP.

i've never had xp. I went from windows 98 to vista rofl.. But I think someone posted a tutorial on how to get the vista theme on here..

 

bah glass2k is out of thought..it crashes alot and causes me to reboot my whole machine.

 

Fastaero is one way to get transparancy its onyl on boarder however one disadvantage its verry buggy

Standalone windows blinds

windows blinds 5.5 does not waste resources windows blinds uses no resources and im using 2mb less ram then i was without windows blinds

Install windows blinds normally until you get to the finished screen click finish then go to the task manager (ctrl+alt+del) or ctrl shift esc.

Go to the process tab.

Find the windows blinds process (WBINST~1.EXE) and click end task.

Then move the patch into the stardock windows blinds directory then install the patch.

BEFORE! I repeat BEFORE you apply any themes reboot your comp or you'l get a windows 95 look and/or errors and still have to reboot and reapply theme.
