To get your xp to look like mine (yes you even get transparent windows)

You should first install windows blinds 5.5 enhanced.

To install use these instructions.

Install windows blinds normally until you get to the finished screen click finish then go to the task manager (ctrl+alt+del) or ctrl shift esc.

Go to the process tab

Find the windows blinds process (WBINST~1.EXE) and click end task

Then move the patch into the stardock windows blinds directory then install the patch.

BEFORE! I repeat BEFORE you apply any themes reboot your comp or you'l get a windows 95 look.

Don't reboot that comp just yet first you will want to install Vista Transformation Pack 7.0

I would recommend selecting everything (if you installed windows blinds above you may not need vistart).

Now after you selected your stuff for vtp you will need to reboot this may take up to 5-15 minutes depending on the speed of your computer don't panick its working fine.

Extra's

If you have Vista but don't have ultimate you can install windows blinds and get an aero themes to get transparancy

Heres Windowsx Aero theme for windows blinds and an aero theme for none windows blinds users without transparancy (if you installed vtp you dont need this)

Good job on the efforts, but you can improve it a little by doing these things:
-Mind your grammar
-Maybe some colours, to make a bit easier to read
-Adjust the lay-out a bit, use bigger text sizes for titles etc...

why dont you people just actually get windows vista like me?

 

My tut is better then tdd it gives more information and it uses windows blinds plus vtp 7 which make transparent windows and a vista theme tdd's didnt come with aero transparency.

No the process is short i have it really detailed max it takes is 10 minutes (maybe 5-10 minutes to apply vtp if your comp is slow)

Window blinds are bad for your computer, laggs it too much.

Dont spam windows blinds does nto lag your comp it uses less resources then defualt xp themign engine
