Video for Xbox 360 not working

My Xbox 360 used to be on my HDTV downstaris, but today I moved it up into my room. I have used the TV in my room before for playing Xbox, but now when I plug in the cords only the audio works, and the video does not.

Does anyone know how to fix it or what to do?

Don't post saying that I am plugging it in wrong, because I'm not.

Also, I have made sure that all the cords were plugged into the back of the Xbox and on the TV.

That's the same problem I had. What you need to do, is call Xbox live support. And tell them that you have 3 red lights. So they can take it in. ( That's if you're warranty ran out.) If it didn't, then call them in. There's noting really that you can do.

Bro, I don't have the ROD I already had it and they fixed it. Its immune to it now.

It shows a green ring, just the video won't work for some reason.

Since you just moved it from your HDTV, you most likely have it set to HD. Look at the video connector that plugs into the back of your 360. There should be a switch for HDTV's and normal TV's. Switch it to normal. Hope this helps.

Hmm do you know where I can find it exactly?

I just looked and I didn't see it.

Look at the back of the xbox cables, you'll see a cable thats pluged in and its like a switch. You can switch it to hdtv or tv. You probally have it on HDTV so switch in down to TV.
