Which violation you are reporting the user for: Editing HTML/Doctoring Images

Why you think they're violating Sythe rules:

During our conversation (video) we were talking about PlayerAuctions and he linked me this image:

He claims to be the buyer of the account, yet the page is wrong in a few places. As a reference here's an image from a current PA dispute (mine) from the perspective of a buyer: [Removed by user as I'm not sure if it's allowed]

1. The section: "You wish to refund"/"The Buyer wants a refund of" is switched. It should be "The Seller wishes to refund/You wish to be refunded."

2. The Buyer/Seller section's title differs, I assume PA shows the opposing party's name.

3. As far as I'm aware, the buyer opens the dispute, but at the bottom of the snip it doesn't say "You said" it says something that's hard to read. I believe it's: coggerlou's Feedback Profile | PlayerAuctions

He also confirmed it's an ex-ironman which looks very similar to one he'd* attempted to sell on Nokzide.

It's entirely possible I'm looking too far into it, but it's pretty suspicious.

I removed them to be safe, *I've since double-checked the rules and would argue that no personal information was revealed unless you include the login email for the osrs account.

But yes, in reference to your post it's important to clarify that the account was not sold on Scythe, but was linked to by Nokzide.

I 100% agree, PA might have had a different webpage a few years ago.

Fair point, I jumped to conclusions about that email being sent.

Yes it was Coggerlou, who shown here, i resolved the dispute with on PlayerAuctions, and this was a different account, two years ago, nothing to do with the account i am advertising on Sythe, so i am not entirely sure why you are mentioning this?

How do you know this wasn't a typo on PlayerAuctions' side, being that it was over 2 years ago.

I am failing to see any evidence of any wrongdoing here? This topic is of a different account, nothing to do with the one i am currently advertising.

During 2018 i pasted my PlayerAuctions link on Sythe from a new account i made because i had not logged onto this one (being that it is from 2011) for a long time, and had forgotten the details until i managed to find the email it was linked to and recover it at a later date. This is entirely NOT the same as attemping to sell an account on Sythe with an "alt" - The account was never listed on Sythe until July 15 2020 on this account VeqzeR, i had the account for sale on PlayerAuctions which never sold - as i also showed you, the accounts in dispute on PlayerAuctions were nothing to do with this account currently being advertised on Sythe.

Again - this was years ago, how can you be entirely sure this wasn't a typo circulating on PlayerAuctions during the time?

Disclosure of Others' Personal Information: Posting information such as private emails/MSNs, private Skype accounts, Facebook accounts, addresses, phone numbers, private photos, etc. of someone other than yourself without explicit consent of that person will result in up to a 1 month ban regardless of whether or not the information is publicly available. If a picture was posted by its owner on Discord or Sythe, this rule still applies. In addition, there will be a DNT given which will need to be pardoned for.

I did not give any consent for you to save and or share these images and video clips from our private confidential conversation, yet you have a video recording on our entire conversation which shows private images i have not given you permission to record or save.

Again, I apologize about the login email. I asked a moderator if I was allowed to post the login email prior to posting, and they said yes.
I understand the situation differs if the email is personal.
 
So, you agree that you were the seller, but while PA isn't the best it's hard to believe they botched the outcome message, buyer name, and buyer refund alignment.
Still, it's entirely possible you also edited the text in the first image to align with your story that the dispute was all a misunderstanding, yet the issue was still escalated to the Final Resolution Committee. Which again, could be a typo from PlayerAuctions or they misunderstood the situation and found Coggerlou in favor. Either way, PlayerAuctions allegedly made at least four mistakes.

I'm primarily hoping you could log in and either screenshare with a moderator or record a video of you refreshing the page. As I believe banned accounts can visit the dispute center as you posted in Discord.

Additionally, given that you posted a link to your account for sale in November of 2018, yet were banned from PlayerAuctions in January of 2018 (second image in your response). Meaning either you were unbanned and your account is still unavailable for some reason, you asked someone else to sell it for you, or you made another PA account to sell the account on. Regardless, the situation calls for inspection hence the post.
 
I have additional proof that as of now both images are still up, different, and posted by the same person if you'd like me to send the proof.
 
That he edited the HTML in his defense pictures doesn't mean his account sale is a scam, just that he's being dishonest about the PA thing and I'd like to know why.

All your previous two messages show is a word changing on a different website on a comment made from 2018 though?

The images are from 14th jan 2018 (the day after the dispute started), all the images are in the same folder i made for the dispute and the one that is changed was done to show my friend who i was talking to about the dispute that text isn't safe because how easy it is to be changed (which begs the question why it is all you rely on in your evidence).

That is why there are two different images, i realised i put the wrong picture in. They are both from 14/01/2018 AS SHOWN BELOW, not today...

I was the buyer (and again, this is a dispute regarding a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ACCOUNT WHICH WAS CLOSED IN MY FAVOUR) - Evidence of this can be seen further down (not just the image below).

And inspection for what? you have given no evidence that I have broken any Sythe rules, each and every rebuttal you have given has been regarding a different account, two years ago, from a sale on a different website under a different username.

I'm not accountable for what PlayerAuctions display on their dispute page from 2018, and it is entirely irrelevant considering they aren't anything to do with the account i am advertising on Sythe currently.

My PlayerAuctions account got a ban even after the dispute was closed in my favour - as i previously told you and have shown you. Upon being unbanned, i contacted PA and they updated the case for me, seen here:

i did not remain indefinitely suspended because it was a mistake on their behalf. It wasn't until the second dispute which i also won, was i indefinitely suspended due to a multi-strike system they have, again, neither disputes had anything to do with the account i am currently advertising, it was on a different website, with different accounts, several years ago, i have given extensive evidence of this by now.

The closest I've come breaking a rule is:

"Interacting on Two or More Accounts/Sharing Accounts: You are strongly advised not to create more than one account at Sythe.org. If you do, ensure that the accounts do not interact with each other."

Whereas I made the second account (nokzide) after losing the login details to this one (veqzer), the accounts have not interacted with each other at all.

Also there is:

"Malicious Off-site Activities: If you are found to have committed offences elsewhere (as in, on other sites) which would constitute a ban here on Sythe had they been committed here, we may use these offences as an indicator of your character and choose to ban you from Sythe. Offences committed prior to your Sythe membership may also be considered depending on the nature of the offence."

But i have given sufficient evidence at the time of the PA ban that i thought it had to be a mistake due to the fact it was ME who escalated the dispute, won it, and was then banned - which is what i also told you our conversation.

I tried several times over a few months to get the ban reviewed which got no response which is why the dates are scattered among the emails. In the end i gave up, which is why i am now using my old Sythe account from 2011 instead of being able to use my PA account, you are unable to make more than one PA account per IP.

I won the dispute because he had to help me recover the account back after it was recovered (likely by him and he didnt expect me to dispute)

You have previously saved and uploaded personal, private, confidential information i shared during a conversation with you. I think this is a matter that should be up for "inspection" - you have given no evidence to support your claim, which again, is nothing to do with Sythe, it is to do with another website, another account, from two years ago.

I had even tried to help you out with the dispute you were putting together, and you are taking it out on someone who has done nothing wrong.

So i'm afraid if you cannot put together a cohesive constructive piece of evidence together that i have broken rules or scammed or have acted incorrectly towards you or anyone else, then i would like to put in a formal complaint for harassment against you as part of the Flaming, Harassment, Trolling Sythe official rules.

I don't have to defend myself here, but I will anyway.

Posting my messages without my consent kind of diminishes your accusations of my doing the same.
Taking my messages out of context doesn't help you case, and why does my being scammed recently have anything to do with you editing HTML at least twice to paint yourself in a better light.

2. Yes, I did get scammed. I posted about it on Scythe.
3. More context: context - He asked why I thought his previous conversation with HustleHoof was faked. In hindsight, I shouldn't have told a potential scammer this, but I wanted to justify my suspicion. Thank you for reminding me, as I was able to include the full images in the PlayerAuctions dispute. I really do appreciate it, and I'm sorry to call you out on this but I don't want anyone getting scammed.

Wait, you literally posted a video clip that showed my email address and emails. A bit different to me posting an image *AS REBUTTAL* explaining the tirade you are going on, in that you were upset someone recovered an account you bought.

Also i have taken nothing out of context - how dare you even say this? You went out of your way to post a 30 second long video here showing confidential pages and images that i showed you in private without at least informing me you were doing so.

You didn't even tell me you were creating this, i found it from going to your profile and checking how your PA dispute was going. And there it was, my personal information laid out with nothing to explain the purpose of of why you put it there, apart from baseless claims and edited images from 2018 from a different website, pertinent of a different account.

I never lied about that, you did multiple times. That's the difference. You asked a question about why I didn't trust your screenshots without the sidebar and I answered truthfully.

You already incriminated yourself once in this thread and I have more evidence that I redacted for your own safety (Again, no personal information was shown as far as I'm aware barring the account email).

That makes it sound like I showed your email account in the video, which I didn't.

I just did more research this time and determined you were being dishonest, that's not a tirade it's common sense.

It's common practice for mods to ask for your side of the story, I don't see how my not pinging you means anything.
 
Also, you're telling me in the second image you posted in post #11 that you took all the snippets within a single minute and edited the HTML to show your friend? It's possible, but so is editing file metadata.

Do the above chat logs from earlier REALLY paint me in the light of someone attempting to scam someone? I told you OVER AND OVER if you had ANY doubts that i understand you looking elsewhere for an account to buy, why would i say that if i was sitting there trying to scam you? I don't get it?

Yes you did show my email - the account login is an email address. I am happy for it to be shown if needed, but not until a mediator/moderator says it can be.

Again, why would someone out to scam people tell them multiple times if they aren't comfortable, to look elsewhere?

I appreciate your concerns but you must empathise enough to see it from my point of view as well, i have done nothing to anyone.

I really don't understand what you mean here? if you had a suspicion by this point, it means you had started out with one, likely because as you stated, the price was so good to be true. Starting out with a baseless unwarranted assumption that i was a scammer isn't right, i hope you can reflect on that and acknowledge it as well.

See, you just assume everything without reason, the images were taken with ShareX, (might've been gyazo back then), and subsequently all gathered at the same time and downloaded when i made the folder of the dispute.
 
I don't see how you* taking snips of parts of your Discord messages means anything?
I had suspicions, but not enough to pass up the deal so I asked more questions and got more answers I found suspicious. Nothing wrong with that. The fact that you claimed a recovery might fail doesn't help your case.

As for the ShareX thing that's totally possible, I'm just saying that the files being dated means nothing and that the timeline doesn't make sense.

In hindsight it's possible he re-downloaded everything thus making the timestamps match, but editing the metadata is still entirely possible.

Knowing someone might scam you is the best way to go into any trade in my opinion, I don't see how the end of post #17 ("Starting out with a baseless unwarranted assumption that i was a scammer isn't right") makes sense.

Look, it's really late and I'm sure we're both tired. I'm just trying to save someone from potentially being scammed and at the end of the day this can be solved if you screenshare PA with a mod or something.
