vBulletin Help

My mate and I are looking at using vBulletin for our WoW Guild.

My friend is taking care of it all, the only problem is that he doesn't know how to upload it to a website.

I personally thought i was just like a code or something and that we could upload it to a freewebs site... then again I have no idea of what vBulletin is.

So long story short, we need to know exactly what we need to do to get vBulletin up and running, and how do you get the profile bar thing running across the top of the post... like sythe.org has.

Is this a tutorial that tells me how to upload it to a site, or is it just run it on my computer to test my board?
