[Denied] Update the Xbox & Playstation Sales rules.

So, with the release of the next generation of systems I propose a relook is done to this particular section.

Currently, the rules are found here last updated in 2017: Xbox Related Sales Forum Rules between then and now a couple things have occurred.

• Microsoft has released game pass & game pass ultimate.
• Sony has released PlayStation now.
• Other services (companies) now allow for subscription or game cards to access their companies games for a certain amount of time.

Of course, this not being everything it does bring up a few major things. Such as new items being able to be sold. Which leads to new potential hazards.

Currently here: Xbox Live and Currency Rules

I am proposing that the outdated quote above be replaced with proof being required as more members will be interested in purchasing said items. With addition to the "newer" items that can be sold. Ideally, it'll match the rules of IRL Sales (Gift Cards) which can be found here: Threads without pictures will be locked. and prevent autobuy threads from being posted which could be potential scams.

 

I'm curious to see if/how much activity the new consoles will actually drive to these sections. Nonetheless, I don't see why this shouldn't be implemented. I think consistency across all subsection rules is best.

 

We removed the requirement for photos in a lot of sections several months ago without incident. I don't think it makes sense to go back on that decision in these super slow sections.
