UNBEARABLE noise from my computer

For some reason, my computer's fan has been going crazy lately while playing games.

Even in games like runescape, where my computer completely surpasses even the high detail mode requirements , the fan goes crazy and starts making a noise much like a pneumatic drill.

Is there anything I can do to restore peace while I play games on my computer?

you can try and replace the fan if u want. but most likely theres just something plugging the fan there that keeps hitting the fan when it rotates. turn the computer off unscrew the fan bit and check if theres anything in there

If its a constant ringing noise, like mine had, than there's nothing you can do but replace it.

or take it out and soak it in vinegar (just the fan no electronic parts!)

and then put it back in after it has dried and it should work again.

mine does this too. Its just very dusty or is overworking. 1) use compressed air to blow the dust off and/or 2) just give it a break every once and a while and/or 3) if you have a laptop you may buy a cooling pad (flat pad with 2 little fans, generally about 20-40$), this sits under your laptop and runs like 2 extra fans.

Or your are over heating it. My computer does it too only while playing TF2 for 5 hours straight xD
