I'm looking to buy a new desktop computer

first of all i don't know shit about computers im looking for a gaming computer that won't lag while playing any online games such as Rs, WoW, Medal of honor: Frontline etc. my budget is $1100...So if you could help me out on making my choice..i currently do not even know where to start :\




Ehh i fuck up with threads alot so don't flame me about it just point it out

Btw i live in the US and no i don't know how to build a computer ..

Never buy a computer package if you want quality for the price you pay, that much is for sure.

Well, if you're in the US, Newegg.com has some decent packages if you don't know much about building.

try pc world, www.pcworld.com i think, but thats if you live in england... you type in what you want the computer for and they will give oyu a list of the oens that suit that.

E.G: Type in Gaming and it will come up with a list of computers right for gaming

Most applications and games today don't use the power of all four cores. A processor is not everything you need to play games either. You need a video card too!

If your playing those games... I'd suggest a 8600GT video card, if you want to play more graphic intense games such as Crysis, I'd suggest you go with a 8800GT or anything above it.

A 8600GT video card goes for $50-$100 on newegg and a 8800GT can be anywhere from $110 to $200.
