My Computer Keeps Randomly Freezing.

I have no idea why. Every once in a while it will simply freeze and stop responding. Sometimes it completely freezes then reboots itself, and sometimes everything freezes but for some reason the music keeps playing, and the mouse is still movable, but the entire computer is unresponsive.

It was a laptop.
HP is the maker.
It currently has Vista.
I only run iTunes, Firefox, msn messenger and SwiftKit.

The computer itself doesn't have that much crap on it so it's not like it has no memory.

Does anyone have a possible solution? At the moment I'm just prone to blaming Vista. -.-

close random tasks till it starts responding again?

I think your computers graphic card is getting overheated. That means you need to lower your computers temperature. Try to get more FAN:s and cooling.
