TWC should be more strict!

If you have been given a twc for being sus within a trade or somewhat minor scamming you should of been given disadvantages not just trade with caution under ur name maybe banned from specified topics etc put it out more, i know poeple that use twc to there advantage which isn't good.

 

Well it's more of a warning. If you're a scammer, you will be banned...They don't give TWC to scammers, they give TWC to possible scammers.

TWC states TRADE WITH CAUTION. This gives the person buying/selling an extra awareness. These can be given to people suspected of scamming, but there isn't enough evidence, possibility of them doing things on another site, such as phishing etc.

There's nothing wrong with the rank, and it doesn't need improvements. Some people are/were already banned from various forums. Ex: Daily was banned from Market.

I agree people shouldn't allowed to return with the option of a TWC and market ban.

 

He's not talking about that. He's saying TWC should be more strict, IE. them getting banned from the market.

He doesn't know that TWC and a market ban are two different things.

 

Also, I've never heard of anyone taking advantage of a TwC.

I don't agree with this, if you have the TWC rank and the person you want to trade with has some brains they probably won't trade with you or they will take a lot of precautions while trading which is what the rank is meant for.

Talking from experience (>.<), I don't see how a TWC can be used to someones advantage. For all I know, it was harder for me to complete trades with it. The difference between a market ban and a TWC is that a TWC warns traders about the person with the TWC, and it's there to make sure the other party takes precautions. (Does that make sense?)

A market ban strictly bans you from using the market whatsoever. I don't get how stricter a TWC can get.

 

TWC pretty much means that you should watch out just in case they scam you, and take precautions such as make them go first in the trade or whatever. I'm pretty sure it's given when they're acting suspicious, but there's no real proof of them doing anything wrong.

That's why a trader should ALWAYS use an OMM or a trusted MM when dealing with users who have a TWC.

 

TWC is just a warning. It's fine as it is now.

Yes, as an example then: Poeple recieve the TWC rank and Tell newer members saying there ranked/mod or something(normally 11 year olds only believe) but if you don't call that taking advantage of it what do you call it?

Yes thats right althought TWC's are given out to innocents e.g poeple get a TWC backing out of a trade because someone the buyer/seller wants to use a OMM but the seller doesn't wanna pay and they get given a TWC not fair in my opionion but i spose thats rules and sythe needs to be strict that way.

 

Show me a case in which this has happened. A person with a brain would realize what 'Trade with Caution' means.

 

How can you be more strict with a twc?


The person has one because they seem dodgy but haven't scammed, so you can't ban them.
