Yeah LOL like that bus369 guy, he scammed me even after being a donator with his own site, how sad.

 

It's a bit embarrassing tagging me in this thread when your the newcomer with a lot less rep then me. Stay safe people.

everything + always check to see if there are any open disputes against them before you trade.

I haven't gotten scammed or charged back on paypal in like 3 years. Sharing this here since it's been working for me and it might help some people:

1. Be careful when trading members that have an account here for under 1 year. Let's be real most 2016 users are vaders that intend to scamquit.. use a trusted middleman (100-200+ vouches, $200+ donator) and don't accept reversible payment methods. I recommend BTC and if you need paypal you can sell your BTC for paypal from a trusted member
2. When trading with someone search their skype/alias in google to check if they've been banned on sythe/other forums
3. Check the report a scammer section before trading with someone
4. Always request a PM even if you've traded with them before

How I determine if someone is trusted:
1. Vouch count - At least 50 vouches
2. Donation amount - At least $50, but donation amount doesn't mean anything to me if they've been on sythe for less than 10 months
3. Join date - One of the most important things imo, but doesn't matter if they don't have vouches
4. Post count - Doesn't mean much, but I believe a member with high post count is less likely to scam

An example of someone I think is trusted: 75+ vouches, 2014 or older member, $50+ donator, 1k+ post count
An example of someone I don't trust: under 50 vouches, 2016 member, already $200 donator, low post count/alot of spam posts

You should add watching out for imposters on skype and how to spot them! Nice post i hope alot of people read this before trading!
