I've never had the desire to be on facebook for more than a few minutes at a time. How long do you usually stay on?

 

Opiates are the worst addiction, stimulants are the most directly damaging addiction

 

Sex addictions. Literally hinders people from functioning in society. I watched a show on it where the people literally had to go masturbate every 10 minutes or so, and their body would start freaking out if they didn't. Not common, but nuts as hell.

 

How can you even compare heroin and pot?

How the fuck is porn a terrible addiction?!

It would be something along the lines of drugs or lying since that can screw your life up more then porn when that can help your life out.

I cant understand how something that kills you, drugs isn't classified as the worst addiction

 

The human mind is a vast piece of work. The ability to function in the first place is simply amazing. The amount of cellular and molecular "action," if you will, is beyond even the comprehension of our most brilliant scientists.

Because the mind is so unique, I can see why we have addictions, especially public approval.

We are geared, like every organism that live, to do specific things according to the environment we develop in. For instance, High School. Kids will create cliques and be inconsiderate. Hence, our search for public approval. This theory though is not limited to just High School, it's everywhere. The senior citizens home, elementary school, Home Depot employee room, we can't escape it. We have developed a critical and harsh society which will have a difficult time learning to understand.

One study I remember reading about was how humans act when they are not around people who are familiar to their normal lives. The study was all about kids that go to college, and are perfect students, etc. It sounds cliche but the truth is, they feel that they must be accepted for some specific reason. That one person will then ALWAYS grow up into that form of a person. They feel the need to always do well. But when they find they are bored, they will actually let loose. "Be who they want to be," and on spring breaks, are usually the ones that end up on Girls Gone Wild without getting paid.

So the next time you go on a plane, notice how comfortable you are to share information with someone you don't know. Then realize how uncomfortable you would be to tell someone you know at home that same thing.

Im not sure how people can even possibly try and say pornography, internet and facebook are the worst addictions.

They dont even stand close to heroine, or crack cocaine

if you've witnessed people withdrawing from hard drugs like those you'd understand.

 

Forget about witnessing... observing. People say they would rather burn alive in a fire for 10 minutes and get it over with.

 

Lol for real. I think porn has been said more than anything else. That's just ridiculous. I find it insulting to be honest. Not only have I experienced drug addictions, but I've had friends die over the years and watched several others just fuck their life completely.
