I'm one of the minority of patriots fans who don't think Blount is amazing. He's had good games against select opponents otherwise has trouble getting consistent yards. Obviously a good find considering our lead RB was injured etc but eh... He's not the future of RB in New England.

I'm hoping they resign Vereen and keep Blount. I want the Patriots to address their need in the OL and DL in the first two round, if they draft Gurley late in the 1st I'll be pissed....

1st round pick will be a DT I'm picking

Vereen needs to be retained but may be priced high for his role in the SB. Blount is still under contract for next year for cheap.

Yeah hoping for a Wilfork replacement in the 1st, followed by a guard to replace Dan Conolly in the 2nd.

    The Interception breakdown

Texans run into the problem of throwing and not running a lot. When you have an amazing running back like lynch (or foster in the Texans case), you have to rely on them to get you short yardage first downs (or TDs) and in very risky situations you have to give them a chance on 3rd down and even possibly 4th down if it is towards the end of the game.

Texans made a call before OT of Texans vs Cowboys game to throw on 2nd AND 3rd and about 4. The second down pass was an incompletion, as was the third down pass. Texans punted and it soon went into OT. Clearly on at least one of these downs Arian Foster should have been given a chance to get the 4 yards because he got the previous 6 on the first down. Later that game in OT Texans lost after an interception thrown on a 3rd and 2. FUCKING 3rd AND 2.

The call was a terrible one on the Seahawks part and until the Texans and Seahawks rely on backs more than QBs in risky situations both won't get the ring next year. Seahawks won their first Superbowl because of the continual threat of Lynch. He was not used as a threat this Superbowl.

That stat was said on ESPN, I watched the same broadcast.

It wasn't a bad call, it just didn't have a good outcome. If it wasn't intercepted he would've been touted as a genius. It was a good INT, he read Russell Wilson like a book, unfortunate though.... It turned out to be a very good game.
