Teacher Student Relationships

So today, a teacher at my school was arrested after half the student body had her nudes.

She was supposedly, having sex with 3 seniors( For those out of the US this is 12th grade, where most people are 18 the legal age for sex ), she IS married, and the husband was supposedly the one who found and leaked the pictures to ruin her life after he found out. None of that is important, it just got me thinking.

Whats your thoughts on Teacher -> Student relationships? Especially in highschool?

I think it's alright to know your teacher to a certain extent, but having sex with a teacher ?

All adults, all the legal age, i dont see why not tbh.

I'd love to have sex with a few of my teachers. :L

 

Of course from a guy's stand point, having sex with a hot teacher would be awesome.

Realistically, it's wrong and will usually end up bad for the teacher, just like in this situation. Obviously her life is now ruined and I'm sure she regrets everything. Real stupid move on her part though. Very unprofessional also.

I think it's alright. The highschoolers are old enough to make intelligent decisions.

 

in high school and the teacher isnt in a relationship it should be fine.
now when you are in lower that high school it just isnt right

Lol have to say I agree with this as well. There was one that just blew most of everyone out of their minds. I mean there were kids who would stalk her, send her flowers and do everything for her to be able to get close and talk to her, was pretty crazy senior year if you ask me. Had an actually crush on a different one as a senior and ALMOST made a move ( ALMOST, I mean I was like talking to her with something I had in my mind and suddenly just changed the subject to something else) just felt like it would have been wrong lol.

I mean at least 17+ (could be 16) is legal where I am so should be no problem in a way but they just have to split teachers from students probably from reputation or something and of course its for respect of their careers and the school as well? Not really sure the main reason why its strict but its obvious why it would be wrong just thinking about the situation. here is a sad face from me..=|.........:'(

 

I'd honestly like to bang a couple of the female teachers at my school. Also, it's not illegal if the student is 18+

Well, this kind of thing has been heard of before at my school to but was a while ago almost 3-4years ago anyways. I've built some close relations to some of my teachers because of sport interests and what ever but nothing like this. Although there are some hot teachers every has the hots for at my school its kinda funny and we all joke about it all the time.

 

For some reason, I always imagine teacher/student relationships as being more dom/sub - but I know most probably are not like that. >.<

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the whole "betraying the trust implicit in the position" thing, assuming all involved are of age and there's no coercion involved. I find the fact that she's a teacher less unsavory than the fact that she cheated on her husband.

 

ok for one! she is a adult these "KIDS" are still in high school they haven't had the chance to really take on life. They are still sheltered in their perfect world of pretty much no worries. "If you disagree with me that means your in high school and you have yet to find out". Plus age difference had to be pretty great. I'm assuming she's late 20's early 30's.

Anyways point 2 that she is supposed to be professional. And having sex with your students is not professional. In college you are aloud to have a relationship with the professor but the campus must be notified so that the student is not in any of the classes with the professor. Same thing goes with anyone that is married and in college. That is professional.

As for her I believe if the kids are 18 she will not be charged with having sex with a minor "not 100% on that" might be whoever has consent of the kid. But she is going to be fired and lose her job. Also for the record that means her teaching license are going to get revoked. This just happened in a town around mine.

 

It's not illegal if the student's 16.
So yeah, tbf. Theres only one teacher i'd sleep with at my school.

It is illegal to have sexual intercourse with a minor. PERIOD.

 

Like Sin said, the "trust exploitation" I believe is rubbish if both are consenting and of legal age.

 

Let's look at similar situations.

Lawyer - Client.
Doctor - Patient.
Teacher - Student.

All are forbidden.


I do agree, If they are both consenting adults, then why not let them be?

However the problem is the law is (IMO) trying to protect the weak and innocent people. The people that DO get exploited.

Have you ever thought about that If they are committing something illegal, and they are both consenting adults why the hell would they tell anyone?

 

If the teacher was hot as others have said then I'd do it for sure!
Theirs a teacher at my school who had sex with a student and a bunch of last years seniors knew about it (Including my sister).
This teacher lives like 6 houses away from me and she's married.

I say it's fine as long as their the legal age. (To be honest I'd say 17 if it's in the U.S)
