I never see anyone playing anymore Maybe time to restart fresh?

 

We had about 7 people on earlier, activity seems to come in bursts. Does starting fresh help? It'd seem like the users I'd have now would leave as I replace the map containing all their work, and no new users would join unless I advertise heavily, and I can just do that now, same map and same current users :O!

 

Yeah, 90% of users are EST. Therefore the activity is in bursts.

Btw, seems like the map is offline atm.

I heard its possible to transfer server owners, have you considered that?

 

Seeing as my server was hosted on my computer, yes I have considered that.
My plan of action is to give the map to our loyal members for them to do what they will with it. Whether that's reopening SytheCraft (a name I don't own, so I suppose anyone can use it now) or to copy and paste their structures into any alternate servers they are active on.

P.S. if anyone DOES decide to reopen a copy of SytheCraft, I'll pal around on there once in a while. I just can't spare my computer to be stuck at home, hardwired to the internet in order to keep up the server 24/7. I need it for my college classes, so I need to take it out at least once daily. Additionally, that's if I don't have homework needing to be finished at work after college is over.

If it doesn't work out, I might host it myself but I don't think I can guarantee 24/7 uptime

 

i can get on my computer every day and its built to stay on for long periods of time, i could run the server if i had a little more know-how about running one.

 

Is sythecraft cracked?
I don't have money to buy minecraft right now,
