Sythe - Slowly dying?

Has that not always been true though? I'm saying 70% of all activity is probably in the RuneScape market forums alone.

 

I don't think it's dying at all. It really is the only forum of it's kind, if anything it's getting bigger.

 

Its just you.

 

Is the site dying? No, far from, if anything the activity is increasing.

The community? Eh, honestly I feel that it is, but maybe that's just me.. There's no longer the feel of "community" within the site, or at least I've lost it.

The market? Seems to be flourishing more then it was, but also seems to be much more scammers.

 

I don't feel right commenting here since I only joined last week but in my opinion there should be more users on the forum / joining the forum now as the free trade is back, It's the main reason why I joined. If we are going down by users it could be because users are joining other communities and leaving this one.

 

I joined in 07 and maybe it's just me but I feel that the forums were much more active back them. Not only number-wise but just peoples disposition to post and contribute to the community. I never go to the market areas, so I don't know how that's faring but in the general discussion page and other forums I feel that its a group of <50 making like 95% of all posts. I get used to seeing the same avatar. In a way I like it you get to know each other better.

Although 1 thing I can vouch about is that activity has increased since free trade. In mid 08 it truly seemed to be dieing off.

 

I joined in 2007, it seems like there's a lot less scamming here now, and it looks a lot more active.
