Sythe RuneScape Friends Chat

Naturally RuneScape is probably the biggest section on Sythe and I'm not actually sure if this has already been a suggestion or is already in place (it seems so obvious I wouldn't surprised if it was already around)
But even if it is I also have a couple of suggestions.

Naturally the chat would have all sythe staff ranked highly, however I believe donators should get smaller ranks on the chat.

New rules including the obvious 'no runescape illegal chat'
However it would be a great social way of meeting new friends online and making certain transactions easier.

 

It'd be a great way for Jagex to instaban every single person in the chat.

 

I was going to argue how hey hav no proof
Then I realised this was Jagex and they're cunts
So maybe a clan instead? I personally have no idea if Jagex actually go into private clans however I'm open to enlightenment

 

I rather not have my account exposed for others to know which community I'm apart of. Account security comes first.

 

There was an 07 one set up by n4n0 but it got pretty quiet eventually - people arent willing to give their RSN's out readily in case they get banned.

 

No point in taking risks.

If you feel so inclined, you can create it and advertise it in the RS section. I don't see it starting too well, though.

 

No support. We're part of blackmarket, craiglist of virtual goods. We break alot of ingamerules here and it's great way for JaGeX to flag our main IPs and ban our accounts.

I don't think its against Jagex's tos to be apart of a black market community. As long as there isn't any rule breaking happening within the FC they aren't tecnically allowed to ban. However, they can keep tabs on the people who join. :/

 

You can just make one yourself and see if it works. There are places to advertise such things on Sythe. I wouldn't count on it being successful though.

 

We've had similar things done many times, it just doesn't garner much activity. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
