Sythe.org's Future?

I agree with sythe on this one, but the rebirth of scripting and java means more account banning and that in end means more sythe to buy them.

hey dumb ass, how are they supposed to transfer the money? d'oh.
Although i have done some researching and i'm currently thinking of a way to continue trasnferring cash.

No I am not a dumb ass you just don't understand! What will happen is this: There have always been people who sell money and then people who buy the money. What will happen now is the people who have always sold the money will now sell bots or scripts that they have made. Then in turn people will buy those bots will real money. From there they will use the bot on the account they want. It can be a bad account that they want to try to get higher in skills or a good account that is already high. See our next challenge is making the bots safer and more undetectable. Then in turn they can sell the account if they want. Bots have been used to not just make money so it will take a little more work but still the black market is alive

Also on another note this should really boost private servers. Private servers have always been there for the people who don't like Runescape, and it seems like there will be a big influence of them now which will increase the amount of people using private servers.

Good idea, except you'd have to be brain dead not to remember that Jagex made a 3k limit on stakes.

Except PK'ing died, also.

i know...im saying runescape died cuz pking was runescape

Guys.. its sythe.."did someone say cheating" not.. sythe "did someone say black market"

I think we are going to have to face it. Runescape Cheating and marketing is going to die out soon. Noval Death sums it up well:

Is there any chance that in the future after all has been past that sythe can become another community? I dont wanna leave sythe or see it die as a rs cheating site.

Well, As I cannot say Mils selling will still be around, I can say Sythe will.

Sythe has had a "scripting" section for a while.

Now that people cannot buy mills, they COULD use bots to make Mils and Skills on their accounts. As the bots currently being used are highly detectable, and, to sum it up: shit; there will definitely need to be more focus on making undetectable bots.

I think bots will make a comeback. For those of you who remember, Classic bots were plentiful, and effective. I still know people with hundreds of millions of gold from macroing in classic.

Also, Account trading will definitely be more abundant now. People can get 100-200Mil on a decent lvl 90 or something via Fletching, and sell it.

I do know, however, that Jagex will definitely be watching for absurd IP changes.

Those of you who say Jagex didn't in fact win, in my opinion, are wrong. Jagex loses out on a mere percentage of their customers, while keeping the rest, and potentially keeping the game going for longer. Face it: Real world trading was inevitably going to crash the economy. I have seen people beginning to buy bulk mils by the hundreds of million way more often now, and prices of things are just nuts.

Jagex loses some customers, but gains a dictatorship on the RuneScape econmy, thus making it last longer.

Just my take :).

Yea that is what I was saying with the bot idea that we need to focus on that now, but also accounts will not go up runescape wise as they can not give that money haha but anyways it is not the fact that they took out real world trading that got everyone mad, but it was how they did it. They took the fun out of the game. They took out the duel arena, the wildy, trading, and just the overall fun. I mean i remember when I used to play runescape when I found 300k on the ground once when i was level 20. I was so happy. I mean they have took it to such an extreme. Finally the economy is actually going to drop now as no one will get a good deal. They will only be able to be 3k off. IT is not an economy when everything is bought for one price and one price only.

Does the new update mean we can't transfer money.. to our own pure accounts?

I'm a little lost on that thought, because that is not real world trading it's splitting money between two accounts you rightfully own.

I have over 100m on my main, but only 4 or 5 on my pure what should i do?

yes, well after 1 jan. we pretty much cant transfer anything.

Ahh. I don't mean sell the gold, I mean sell the account for real cash. Sell an account with X amount of Mils on it for X amount of IRL cash.

For example: Someone has a lvl 95 account. They earn 50 million via woodcutting, fletching, or any other skill. They then sell the account, with the millions. The person would really be paying for the millions, and have to start using that account.

You should just leave it. RuneScape will be fixing the wilderness. To continue on your pure, though, you would have to get a money making skill up on your pure and make money separately on separate accounts.

Also, they stopped drop trading because Real World Traders were using it as a way to transfer from account to account.

Not to mention, it is against the rules even to share money between your own accounts, regardless.

ALSO: I advise you to remove your signature, as it says "Hey Jagex, I am "This Character" Ban me!

yer i agree but there are still ways we can get around to buying and selling mils. all u have to do is instea of trading u shud stake and if ur sellin mils lets say, u lose on purpose so the other player gets his/her mils and this only a new type of trading system for us all. so there is still ways we can beat jagex.

havent you noticed that the staking limit is 3k? that would take an aweful long time just to trade over 1 mill...

these reasent updates have effected every member of sythe that are trading in the black market but like alot of people have said before me Jagex also suffers for this loseing lods of players beacuse of the lost of pking if we want sythe to comtinue to live we must find another way to trade if not sythe would just fall apart

how do you know they will be fixing the wilderness? has it been announced?

Well, Mod Mark was hinting towards it in game, but that is not refutable.

They have a lot of members, some people with several member accounts, to pk. They will be losing a good chunk of income if not.

Lets say they don't restore the wilderness, they will definitely make beneficial changes to the new "Bounty hunter". As it stands now, thousands of people have canceled their subscriptions, and more doing such. Jagex need the income to fund their future release "MechScape".

They will do something different with it.

I agree that the cheating community will benefit from these updates, but I think it is a terrible idea to just abandon the Black Market. Although Sythe might have begun as a cheating site, these days its core is the market. A lot of people on this site are not looking to use bots on their characters, and there is still a huge amount of people with deep pockets looking to spend money on Runescape. At the very least, account selling becomes much more viable as it becomes impossible to transfer items between accounts. That is, if nobody finds a way to beat the updates.

Well:

To sum it up: MechScape is a futureistic MMORPG, involving Real World Trading as a part of Jagex's profit. In other words: Jagex will be selling you items for the game. Some sources tell me it is RuneScape, in a futuristic version, rather then a mid evil game, which will also have several hundred vehicles to roam about the various servers in.

Jagex recently registered a trademark "MechScape", and also MechScape domain names. (Source - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagex)

Also, Jagex has registered a trademark image for the future release "MechScape". (Source - http://oami.europa.eu/CTMOnline/Req...elect=2&denoaux=mechscape&ntmark=&listType=1&)

Also, Jagex has admitted in an interview with BBC News, that RuneScape will only be their main focus for five more years. They plan on releasing a game where REAL WORLD TRADING is a part of their profits. (Source - http://news.bbc.co.uk/nolpda/ukfs_news/hi/newsid_7090000/7090490.stm)

Here is a vaguely descriptive site about the future release: http://www.mechscapeworld.com/ (Note this site is in no way affiliated with Jagex or RuneScape whatsoever.)

I have a few other sources, some of which I can not release, and some of which I choose not to release. I may compose a thread discussing more of what I know, and going more into depth on some of it eventually.

i have no idea how you found this but thanks. sounds a little bit like habbo hotel. not game wise but how you have to buy the stuff.

While, I gave some sources so you can read for yourself, but others I just cannot release. Like I said, I may create a more descriptive thread sometime, with my sources permission, of course.

yeh read em all. quite interesting. i dont understand why you cant realease some other sources? meh. i hope they invest alot of money in a new game then we can all watch it crash and burn :D

The amount of people they are losing will easily be replaced by new noobs next year. they will still make millions.
