    Don't know if this has been brought up before, but a messenger inside of Sythe kind of like Skype, where it makes a sound when you've been messaged, and you don't have to refresh your page to see it.

    We have an XMPP server that anyone can connect to with their sythe account already.

    We have been working on an integrated messenger/chat system for some time but there have been delays. Matt decided to take the project and write a chat client from scratch on top of strophe, but it's only half finished and he is busy with inrl issues.

    At the moment I am busy with other site improvements so the project is stalled.
