This is actually pretty fuckin inspiring, Sythe.


A friend and I built a little cabin a couple miles into the bush away from town that we go to fish and get away on weekends. Try find running water to generate additional electricity.

If you can, try make a fish farm. It'd be fairly low maintainence (once its finished) for a nice supply of fish. And chickens of course...

Pork is unhealthy lol - whats your main motivation for hogs? aside from bacon of course.. I hear they can be pretty handy for cleaning up. [lock stock]

My friends and I have tried doing what you're doing and it's a lot harder than people think. Kudos for actually doing it.

Oh ok nice, tenterfield is like a 3-4 hour drive from me, I should make the trip out one time and take a look, if you're keen. Bush fire season is a pretty scary thing in Australia, I would understand you're a bit worried. What preventions do they fire crew advise? from my knowledge, it's really inevitable though? right? What are the plans for the road? how long is it?
