Supports that can hard carry a game

Anyone know any hard carry supports for when you have a bad adc/ feeders in other lanes?

 

Annie. Annie is love, annie is life.

I just played with her and went 23/1/6 as support. Snowball at its finest.

 

Annie if you go just ap and no support items and Leona is a good initiating on any champ and can easily help focus people

 

All supports can hard carry if played right. Good initiation champions such as leona, thresh, blitz if you can land abilities on the right targets at the right times.
Supports like Janna can win fights with the disengage power and the synergy with champions like Yasuo.

Idk.. Support is just under-rated. Learn to play it and you'll gain ELO. A good support will win their team a lot of games; getting the ADC fed.

 

My problem is adcs that don't follow up on a good engage.
I probably should just play Annie whenever i get stuck supp.
I've carried before with Vel Supp but he is super squishy

 

Try simple things like communicating. Some players won't communicate no matter what; but that's a part of the game and you have to just deal with it and keep going. Try things like pinging before engaging, or saying things like "When I ping we engage bro" and saying GJ when he follows up well. Things like "ult up in 5, get ready I flash engage" for example, would make an adc ready in most cases. Just communicate as well as you can with chat/pings and be patient.

I honnestly like brand support, you can 2v1 at 6 because of your aoe.

 

annie/blitz/leona and my personal favorite is lux

 

i think leona is a pretty easy support and very good with hard engage

 

I'd have to agree most with this part of Owen's post out of all the posts in this thread. Hard initiation champs like these not only have the potential to turn the whole game around, but can also be incredibly useful while being quite behind (mainly for Thresh, lantern is the only ability in the game other than Tahm ult that repositions an ally champ).

 

Basically every supp can carry, but the multifunctional supps, like thresh who can defend and attack at the same time are the best

 

tbh I really like annie and thresh but I am not a good enough thresh to carry without an adc that can last hit
When I duo with my friend we do well when I play thresh but that's only because we work well together so I should probably just practice some supps in normals for a while and get used to other types of adcs

 

Okay so here's who people play when climbing:

Bard, Ekko, Thresh, Annie, Zyra or Nami.

These can carry quite hard.

 

Morgana, annie and thresh are currently the best supports to play, and ofc Janna is really op now

 

Bard is best.

Annie is probably best option to "carry" the game.

 

Morgana is an amazing one I forgot to mention. Her Q lasts forever and does a shit ton of damage, and her ultimate stops enemies spells and then stuns a couple of seconds later whilst dealing a ton of damage. As well of this she has a stupidly OP spell shield, making it impossible for enemy thresh, blitz etc.

 

Annie definitely seems to be the champion of choice.
