Suggestions About Donating

I am currently wondering if the benefits of donating are worth it on here or not and wondering peoples opinions of which level gets the best bang for your buck. I am currently away from home working for a couple weeks i plan to open a service thread offering different things. A few of them being slayer training/agility training/boss kills (ironmen etc)/and possibly the elusive infernal cape and other things people may find difficult to complete 15 prayer mm2 and so fourth.

What donation amount would you recommend for me moving forward?

Kidding, you can run a successful service without donation ranks tbh. You just need to prove yourself.

 

Yes kinda just debating if donating a certain amount would be worth advoiding the hastle of doing free/extremely cheap services for a week or whatever it would take.

 

Donating will only help to increase the number of potential customers that's all.

For myself? I never did a free week services.

unfortunately, the more you donate = the more services you end up getting.

consumers see it more of a deposit into a service compared to as a generous gift to the community.

 

$50 has a pretty fat & noticable rank. User title is pretty nice too.

if you're doing infernal capes for someone id expect it to cost more than 200$. so being a 200 donor is irrelevant i still wouldnt trust you. unless you have vouches (real) of you being trusted with 500m+ i wouldnt trust you on my account. but thats just me. im not nieve.
EDIT: but if you're doing infernal capes for people and expect them to have max gear for it. thats ~2b. so still youd have to be a highly trusted member on sythe . very very highly trusted.

 

Yeah I've been thinking the way I would be going about this would be having the person put a deposit down for my own gear using who ever is the most trusted middle man and recording the full thing start to finish. I also would only be doing maxed mains with raids prayers and using an acb so that cuts the tbow out of the equation.

 

For infernal services not many people will trust you for a long time due to gear price involved. But cherrys isn't a donor and does them. I'd say 200 Donor is the best for the buck as you get a UI but thats all really

@Dragonair I find $50 to be plenty to start, I personally was $50 for a while then went straight to 200 for name change and a few other things, but ya.. 200 is nice imo

 

$5 is a good start but your gonna have to back that with a lot of vouches.

Yup, after $200 its mainly just showing your appreciation towards the site. In terms of trust, $200-500 is really the same.

 

Agreed. Then again, you almost know that you can trust the chinese guys with an absurd amount of money. It's like they haven't scammed and have successfully proved themselves in every single blackmarket.

 

im not self aware or educated in that so idk whether thats true or not.

 

Take lester1205 for example as stated above. He left the black market like a normal human being instead of scamming the thousands he could have.

to add onto that, check the gold community. these guys live off their black market profits. it's a decent business across the seas
