Suggestion for MM Section

Although it's not a huge issue I would support this as I have obviously invested a great deal of time & effort on my MM'ing. The last time I checked the post count for Price Checking forum was also disabled?

 

Now that one does make sense since you can quite literally spam every thread giving mis-quotes. It's better for the people that are requesting price checks to get more accurate quotes if there is no post count.

While you mention this however, market discussion should probably get post count enabled.

 

You could go into 100 threads and post

30m
40m
50m

even if they are nowhere near what the account is worth. No support for price check forum, support for MM forum though

I would love to see this gets enabled. No reason why mm section can't get you post counts while the marketplace does. Support.

I don't support, no reason to go through to change something as minuscule as this. As you said, it is only 1 post, who really cares.

 

I support this. If we have post count enabled in such threads as "Rate the song above you" and "What are you listening to?", we should have post count enabled in the MM section.

 

I think Jack has this right Elena. Even though the thoughts were about an off-topic subject, they still apply for middle-manning. If you want to keep up the thread, then you should keep it up for the sheer fact that you want to be a middleman. I understand where you're coming from that you can spam and bump in other sections to get your post count up but they are also not the people who others rely on to run middleman services.

If you opened up MMing to have a post count, then why wouldn't I just want to go there and create my own MMing service for free just to spam and get my post count up. Regardless of whether someone uses me or not. The biggest problem with opening up post count on it would be that you would get a decent amount of people that don't want to really be middlemen, but would just rather be there for the post count - since most would still rely on the ones that have higher vouches. Think of it this way, would you rather have a bunch of newcomers sitting in there spamming "Bump" every 8 hours (or whatever it is) or would you rather have people you know you can rely on to be active and on the first page - not flooded out to second, third, or fourth page. I would rather have middlemen that truly want to be there if and when I need one, that I know I could rely on.

Those people are banned for being non-legit (scammers). Anyone can middleman though and just not care. Which would you prefer? It's a very valid argument.

 

^ Scammers could go and make a middleman thread right now if they wanted to if someone is going to scam middlemanning they are going to do it whether or not there is 1 post involved or not.

Similar to the other sections too. It is just a difference of name.
I don't see why 1 side should allow the posts count while another doesn't when it is close to similar.
