Stupid question about IP address

    Stupid question about IP address
    Hi guys,

    If I use the same laptop to connect to the home wifi and my phone's hotspot, they will have different IP right? If so, despite that they're from different network, can Jagex track that I'm using the same device (my laptop)?

    Hey @Skypiea. As far as I'm aware they'd have the same partial IP. Taking IP 111.222.33.44 for example, I believe only the numbers "44" would change. Dynamic IP's change anyways so I don't think there would be much difference, neither for Jagex to find out you're the same person.
