[STAFF POWER ABUSE] This is embarrassing, multiple staff abusing this rule for there own benefit.

I do not redirect people buying gold to buy off the site I work for, I only sell my own private gold on my own site or to people that PM me directly for gold.

 

What ABM said. Would it be fair if every Ariba worker made their own buying/selling thread considering all of the money is going to and from @ARIBA themself? This is literally what they're doing with Chicks money; its not them flipping gp for themselves, they're doing it for Chicks. I like Chicks, hes a good guy, but this is clearly an abuse of the current rules of Sythe for his own personal gain.

After contacting PA with regards to the account sharing abuse issue, they've asked me to give them the username of the member(s) involved to launch an investigation. This leads me to believe that they must somewhat agree that it is an unethical practice.

I'm rather busy, so if someone could provide me with the PA account(s) in question I will forward them for the investigation.

Chloe keeps claiming its according to the Playerauctions rules in every argument she makes. In my opinion it is only fair to research if what she is saying is truthful or not.

 

You're essentially reporting and trying to block a third parties source of income, this is no better than tweeting users as both share the same result: temporary monetary losses.

 

1. I don't disagree with something thats "already been done", as it's clearly ongoing and Chloe has said she doesn't understand why it's unethical despite my attempts at explaining . As for "taking revenge" I've never had anything to do with any of you prior to this thread and I've no interest in people being wrongfully punished.

3. There is no disagreement. In the same fashion that abuse of anything on Sythe gets reported and investigated I'm doing the exact same? As a mod you should understand this, in my opinion.
4. I'm calling someone out and have OPENLY SAID MULTIPLE TIMES that if they decide it is perfectly fine then I wont have a leg to stand on. You seem to be taking a personal stance on this rather than an objective one. To me it doesn't matter if this was Chloe or someone else, same practice same situation same outcome.

I'll be providing an update from PA once I receive one whether it backs my point or not. If you wish to continue trying to get under my skin by saying how I'm doing things based on emotion or personal bias then....you do you friend.

Just because I do not agree with you doesnt mean I'm taking this personal, I just dont see how you reporting a fellow sythe member is even remotely helpful? Even if they disagree about the account sharing, this is quite literally not their business as we're discussing Sythe.org rules.

Look at it like this:
I'm training an 07 account and you're asking me if im botting. I say no and you go ahead and tweet/email my rsn to support asking them to investigate for botting. Maybe I'll get banned now (thanks to you).
How is this fair? You're doing the exact same thing to Chicks here hence why im disagreeing with the actions you take.

When I said it's on-going I was referring to the unethical practice rather than the case itself. I am defining it as unethical because I view it as deceitful as well as incorrect to do and that view is my opinion, which is why I've said if they say that they don't mind then I have no leg to stand on.

Your example is flawed because she would have said yes rather than no, she isn't denying doing this. Not to mention anyone who bots (I do) does deserve to get banned, no is one disputing that...it's against the rules.
So your example is saying that she's only being punished because she got caught...Which is correct.

I'm still confused as to how you think it's okay for her to gain a financial advantage by using someone elses PA account which will get fee reductions that she wouldn't get on her own account (hence why he's using theirs). If you can explain this to me I'd be a much happier bunny. I'm not saying what she is doing is directly against sythe rules. I'm saying it's unethical. I wish it would be against Sythe rules but I've no grounds to make that claim without offering a viable solution.

I asked her the same question yesterday with regards to the finances and got no response.

The point I'm trying to make regardless of the subject is that I'm disagreeing with the fact you think it's okay to report someone's business account to PA when there's a chance it will get locked. Have you considered the monetary losses, possible loss of short term sales etc and things like money left frozen on the account for a while (if it gets locked). I felt like this was common sense that we shouldn't go out and report each other but by the looks of it you don't share that opinion with me and thats ok.
