No... I don't think sypherz is just jealous. I've seen a lot of Laptop's posts since his promotion and thought, "Jeez dude... take it down a notch..."
He's doing good work, but his attitude could do with some tweaking. Though as Verts just said, it's probably just normal for that sort of thing to happen.

But I'm glad you didn't take any of this feedback the wrong way Laptop65. That's a sign of good character.

 

I definitely think that you're doing a good job. I just think that we may have.. clashed in the past couple of days. It's not a matter of jealousy. I can help out the community as I normally do no matter what stats I have. (The thing I care most about is preventing scams here). It's simply me being accounting for why I was previously.. annoyed by a user. I'm just trying to handle this maturely, as I understand how I need to act when I get in weird moods such as this Thankyou for accepting my feedback.

 

Verts - You a amazing admen now, you've picked up your activity so well and Im seeing you everywhere that its necessary for you to be. ILY :>

Laptop65 - Been seeing you in alot of places lately, still i don't think runescape mod was the best place for you, maybe a community or market mod would have suited you more
Spraynwipe - Cant really say that much cause the GFX forum doesnt exactly have that many reports that need answering but your a good friend

Just wanted to post some support for Laptop I think he has been doing a great job as RS mod and you can tell that he is hungry to help out and eager to learn the ropes efficiently. He has been doing alot of work around the site that is being noticed by alot of people, and his dedication to his position is shining through.

I have to admit that I was a little surprised and doubtful of his promotion at first, but I knew he was a good guy and so I'm so impressed to see how well he is handling is position. Also, great job handling any negative feedback during his first few days - I think he handled it well, took it to heart, and genuinely wants to improve and become the best mod he can possibly be.

Keep it up bud! ^_^

 

He was picked for Runescape because that's where we needed the most help (And he was extremely active there) -- He wasn't active in the Market at all, so that would have been a poor choice for him. When we consider market mods, we try and pick people who at least have a little bit of market experience.

 

This exactly. He's been trying extremely hard and been cleaning up loads of threads. I was shocked with his promotion as well and thought he wasn't suited to be a mod. He's doing an amazing job with everything and once he gets the hang of everything else he'll be a beast mod.

Thanks zerk I'm trying my best to do what I can from an iPhone. And my GF hates me doing sythe stuff on my iPhone.

 

That is even more impressive that you are working from an Iphone

 

Laptop's also helped me a lot with a problem I had a while ago.

 

I'm just here to compliment Superman, he just dealt with like 20+ scammer reports in about an hour. Great work!

Firez : Great job on all the scam reports and banning lots of scammorz in gold exchange.

Giddy : I spoke to some other people and it's not only me that thinks you haven't done much productive at all over the past few months, You even infracted me once and i tryed to pm you a couple of times and you didn't reply or even say denied or anything like that, You are the most inactive moderator and you need to start doing more, Whether it's due to irl problems or something, Atleast let people know what's up with the inactivity in moderating, I also notice you're pretty active in the spam forum, But that's not where your job was placed, a Global has more duties then posting on a couple of spam threads.

Since most of you are new(ish), you've only seen a small portion of what has really happened. I've been a gmod since before most of you guys joined, and not once have I been demoted for inactivity. I'd like to say I stay pretty consistent, but we all have our on/off months, we're only human. An assessment based on a few months is all good and dandy but its hardly accurate. In a couple months, you'll see active mods burning out and inactive mods picking up the slack.

I have PMs dating back to November, and not one from you. I will answer serious questions over PM, however I wont waste my time arguing over infractions.

You're exactly right, gmods have duties. I fulfill my duties monthly and on my free time I interact with the wonderful community.

After all this, if you guys still want me gone, I'll happily resign.

 

I wouldn't take his feedback so personally Giddy. He is obviously new, and you haven't been the most active mod in the past few months. However I know that you are active, and fulfill your duties, even if it is sometimes behind the scenes. His feedback is based on what he has seen, and since he is new it isn't that much, but I guess what I am saying is don't be so harsh, we all appreciate you.
