SOPA Is now dead! <3

Agreed, and this is really sad in my opinion.

 

I guess this shows what the might of the public can do, as well as a few Multi-Million/billion companies can pull off.

 

Sopa was just a distraction a new one is coming next year

 

I wouldn't say the whole act was created just as a distraction, more, because they realised this one won't work they'll make a better one, which is much more likely to pass.

 

SOPA will be back, and it will be passed, so use your internet time wisely, while you still can.

They weren't because of SOPA, they were completey different cases.

 

NOOO. MegaUpload, Videobb, and PutLocker aren't working. Those were my favorite. Gorillavidz is ok though :/

 

This ACTA bill is much larger than just the internet... They want to stop providing certain medicines for diseases like diabetes as well I believe, and stop certain crops from being grown or something. This is only the tip of the iceberg people. They are stripping our freedom of speech, and they will strip every one of our rights until we have none left. This will lead to a revolution that is beyond imagination, and I know I will be a part of it if it comes down to it. I won't sit around and watch as the whole world turns fascist. They are trying to stop our communication, so the government can start their real plans, and if this passes, we won't know about it or be able to pass the info on until it's too late.

If the world was ever going to end, it would be from this. This is not something to just ignore.

Wow. That's sly, they shouldn't do that, just a way to try bypass the anti-SOPA.

 

Even if SOPA is dead, we still have to deal with IDA which was already signed in Dec 31st, 2011; when no one was suspecting anything.

 

Doesnt matter, SOPA was dead before they got it into goverment. there is no way they could release that law and censor.

I believe that SOPA is dead.. But not in the way we think it is... Theres probably going to be some other bill EXACTLY the same but worded differently to make it seem like its a good thing.. Just my idea. Untill then... ALL HAIL INTERNET!

 

Nobody ever answered what SOPA or ACTA was
