you need a reptile license from the govenment for lizzards/turtles (all it takes is a background check) so maybe something like that for a monkey lol?

Yeah, it IS illegal to own a pet monkey or chimpanzee, because as they grow older. (5-10 years of age) they get REALLY strong and aggressive, this is basically why it's now illegal:

Once I mistook a raccoon for our dog on our front porch and I kicked it and it hissed at me and I sharted. Then I kicked it hard as I could and ran inside. Luckily it didn't bite me or I might have turned into a rabid zombie
