Close this, I'm tired of immature little kids posting how awesome they are if they make fun of someone. Grow a pair, faggets. And to the rest of all the people that posted, and actually tried to help, thank you.

You could go to a rapidshare(It might be rapidlibrary, or something of that sort) library and look for it.
They usually have the most costly of things for free.

Just type in the name of the course. Hope you find it.

Contact The Stuttering Foundation of America as that is where our family got help. Their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" worked wonders after working through it step by step. The book can be found here http://www.stutteringhelp.org/Default.as…

Over 3% of the American population has a stuttering problem. If you tend to stutter, it is important to realize that you are not alone. Stuttering is a treatable speech impairment, and you should not feel that there is no hope or that there is nothing that you can do about it.

By the time you finish reading this answer, you will have a better idea of what your options are for treatments and hopefully will be able to decide what option is right for you.

1.) Therapy For Stuttering: Therapy is probably the most common form, out of all the treatments for stuttering available. It is most effective if started at a young age, to correct stuttering at it's early development. However, many adults who start therapy are still able to at least significantly reduce their stuttering if unable to cure it entirely.

2.) Drug Therapy: Drug therapy is becoming an increasingly more popular form of treatment. This is one method that I don't like and advise you to use only as a last resort. Despite it's growing popularity, it is widely considered ineffective. The FDA has yet to actually approve any drug specifically for the use of treating stuttering. Most of the drugs prescribed for this purpose, are actually for anxiety or depression.

3.) Stuttering Devices: The use of stuttering devices, is by far the newest out of all the treatments for stuttering. It seems that many people seem to claim that these devices do in fact work. However, this is not to be considered an actual cure because if you stop using the device you will continue to stutter again. Also, the price tag on these devices are around $2,000-$3,000.

I know someone who once had a stutter. Something he said he did that helped him overcome it is to call random people and have conversations with them (over the phone of course).

Wow TDD, you're a dick. You wouldn't think it's funny if you had one, it controls your fucking life.

Thanks for all the posts guys.

EDIT : Also, like one of the people mentioned, there is a device that you put into your ear that echos what you say. I remember finding that out back in 5th grade, that when you hear someone say the same thing, you can speak perfectly.

It's called speecheasy, but unfortunatly, I can't afford it.

It's not just life generally it's our life. Making fun of stuttering wouldn't be any funnier than making fun of your back pain. It's not funny it's unfortunate.
