Am I the only one that is constantly added by people on Skype and it's just a bot trying to get your credit card info?

 

I get multiple every single day.

I'm sure bots just scrape the web looking for skype ID's to add.

 

I only get one every week or so, they seem to be not too constant.

 

DON'T SAY THESE WORDS. PERIOD.

You've just started a movement of which can never be stopped and continuous requests are going to flow in. YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL.

 

This one guy added me and told me to sell him gp $0.50/m or else. I said gtfo and he's like, "good luck with the thousands of horny dudes m8"... Ever since then I got 8-10 a day :\. Now I'm only getting 1-2 a day thank the lord lmao.

 

that happened to one of my friends. Someone posted his skype on some sex chat site and his skype blew up with random requests lol

It was so hard trying to weave out customers and sex chats -.-

 

Not that hard, you add them; if they ask if you like red head chicks you block them.

Otherwise I don't get the ones asking for credit card information, thankfully.

 

Yeah then you have to add/delete and sort through them all.. I was getting 3-4 per 10 minutes at one point..

 

Well considering I just got 5 in the past hour, thanks to whoever put my skype on a website somewhere >.>...

These aren't bots tho, they immediately just ask for asl, and such...

Yeah I get like 3-4 a week. One way to help avoid it is having a little picture of your Skype and only posting that, but that only really stops some of them.

 

I guess I'm not "popular" enough to get these random requests. I've only had 3 dating people or whatever they are called add me.

 

Never let it get anywhere near credit card status. I usually ban them once they post 25/f/s looking to have some fun. I usually call them obscene names and block them. At least one or two a week.
