Just got a 502 bad gateway error when I clicked to go to this thread

SCAMMER/VADER GETS AWAY, NOT A INNOCENT SOUL?

But despite the nosmileys tag my signature randomly converts Oj's skype into the eek emote (because of the : o emoticon) without me touching my signature at all. It affects the Skype address they add too, not just the visible text part.

The weirdest part is that it's fine when I save the signature, just after a while I notice it changed back to having the emoticon again.

My html code is closed properly so if something is messing up, it's not my UT.
Also, not having the same issue as you so it might be on your end?

Keep getting bad gateway error and trouble connecting to the site everytime i try to post something and view certain parts of the site, not sure if it's my internet or Sythe. I haven't had problems on other websites.

Alright there's some sort of BGP problem which is preventing our search server talking to our work servers. However our cache server is able to talk to our search server so I've rerouted the search traffic through it for now. It should be fine, maybe up to 100ms slower than normal to submit a post. Hopefully the BGP issue will be resolved soon. I have a ticket with the DC.

 

Ok Cogent has fixed their routing table so the servers can talk directly again

I'll keep an eye on it all the same make sure its all stable
