Site Problems Thread

Try a few times or try later. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't for me.

 

Yeah, often happens when we're moving an excessive amount of Spam Forums over to the archives, same as with disputes. Just get a redirect loop error. The action still normally occurs (threads still get moved).

Over 2000 guests on at a point makes me think it was a weak DDoS attack yeah.

Generally on the rare occasions this happens it ends up being I just need to clear my cache or the next time I reboot my PC it's fine.

You could also ask someone else to run the search for your threads and give you the updated URL.

 

it's not a rare occasion that searches for threads are turning up nothing @ Brendan.

It's gotton so bad I posted about it for sythe and he said he'd look into something about it.


There's at least 10+ people on this thread that we KNOW have had or are having the issue, I'm betting its effecting hundreds.

 

Getting error when trying to copy/PASTE vouches on my vouch thread.

If I write by hands - everything is ok. But as soon as i trying to PASTE it gets error.

 

Are you using the "copy" button at the bottom of each post?

Click copy-> highlight text-> copy->paste into vouch thread.

It sounds like ur trying to copy and paste without using the button.


Also, it seems the search feature is fully operational again, I've yet to have anymore complaints from who it was broken for.

 

Im using: quote> highlight text > ctr+c > ctrl + v

Just tryed to use as u said, still getting same error.

Has been an ongoing issue for quite some time now. Seems to be pretty random so it's hard to pinpoint. You'll notice it often in the report a spammer archive section

 

I have the same problem, but I have a bandaid solution. Create a spoiler and put like 200 vouches in there and save. After that, adding vouches shouldn't be an issue.

The rolls on posts #381-386 are showing up fine for me but I'm seeing the error on the rest of the posts on the page. Same thing goes for most of the other pages in that thread too.

Also, cant change the site's skin down the bottom, regardless of which option you choose, it does nothing.

- Attempted changing it in hopes of fixing the dicing glitch, no dice, however.
