Sir Louis' confession (ban evasion)

Hello to all who read this, thank you for taking the time and I apologise for such a long and essay like request. Yet I hope all the information I provide will support my reasoning and this can all be resolved. I also realise the much greater amount of work you may have to put into this case compared to the norm, so I am appreciative of that too.

So firstly, I will be truthful, here are the accounts I have been banned on and used to evade in the past with the report threads attached:

- SmithyStanly, rock on bro (Fake Vouch):
- SmithyStanly = fake voucher.

- 5tan (Ban Evasion):
- [superman] Asking for a pardon for my ban evasion ban
- Asking for a rethink on my lifetime ban

Looking back at this situation I can also see how stupid I was. When my account SmithyStanly was banned I didn't realise it was a 1 to 2 week ban, I thought I had been permanently banned and therefore made the 3rd account 5tan. So from my misunderstanding and rule breaking I dug myself a hole 1,000 times deeper than it could have been if I educated myself on the situation and didn't jump the gun.

And since the last ban I have been using this Account "Sir Louis".

5tan was the account I used in my attempts to receive a pardon back in 2013, yet my previous attempts became a lot more complicated when it was identified that a few more accounts on top of my own were linked to an IP address I had accessed Sythe from, which you can see in the threads linked above.

In reference to this I would like to assure you that those are NOT my accounts. Although it’s a crazy coincidence that two of the accounts also contains smith(y) in the name, I promise that a coincidence is all it is. Therefore, I ask you to please look into the accounts again before making judgement, I have tried to think of ways in which I can prove to you that the accounts I listed at the beginning of the thread are the only ones I have owned, and I came to the conclusion that the passwords of the accounts may have been similar (and whether they are or not I can attempt to recite these for you).

I can also give information upon request of the meaning and reasoning behind my account names. The links between them may support the fact that the other accounts are not mine.

I looked into the other members stated by Superman. With (OGTrader and SSmithy) I saw that the vast majority of their posts were mainly in the xbox market place. Although you only have my word for it, I have never owned an xbox. And would therefore never wish/need to post in that forum section, which you can see on my old accounts (SmithyStanly, rock on bro and 5tan), this makes me believe that (OGTrader and SSmithy) were the same person. With (reaysmith) I cannot argue against where they have posted as it is similar to me and the majority of the members on Sythe (Runescape mainly) But hopefully the other information I supply will support the fact that this too, is not my account.

I also ran an IP audit on the previous accounts, both my own and the accussed (I understand this is not always viable information). Yet the address that the other accounts along with my own accessed, has also been connected with numerous other members making me believe it will have been somewhere in public. Where that is exactly, I'm not sure (sorry).

I have condensed the IP Audits of the accounts into an Imgur album, with a title explaining the linked IP addresses. And a description for each photo identifying which account each IP Audit belongs to: Imgur
You can also see that the accounts that belong to me (SmithyStanly, rock on bro and 5tan) have my home IP address(es) linked between them.

And if you require anything from me to help support this request of a pardon I am available on my Skype and Sythe consistently throughout the day.

Now onto what I feel has changed since the previous bans and why I have decided that now is the time to ask for a pardon.

The first thing to address is how I (Sir Louis) have no connection to my previous accounts which has obviously allowed me very luckily to keep enjoying this community. I created Sir Louis when I received new internet at home, it hit me that I would have a new IP address which would allow me to have a fresh start. All I wanted at that point was for my past to be forgotten and I set off into the community to enjoy it just like I wanted to previously before I messed it up with the fake vouch, which is the epicentre of all this. I even partook in the Christmas event of 2013 by producing an extremely cringey beatbox attempt in the karaoke (another regret).

I then began to take large breaks from gaming, Runescape and therefore Sythe as I moved onto university. Only really returning to Sythe a few months ago, yet in these 3 years I have matured and realised that the error I made in 2013 (fake vouch) and the subsequent error that followed (ban evasion) was childish. I more than regret them as I do not want them to impact the small yet strong reputation I have gained upon my return, from setting up a little skill training service to being active in certain sections (especially music, hobby of mine).

In all I believe this shows that I never hurt anyone and would never want/mean to. I made some childish mistakes and took completely the wrong direction and action in an attempt to redeem myself, but instead all I did was avoid my punishment and in doing so may have destroyed my small reputation beyond repair.

Therefore, I am firstly willing (if you deem necessary) to sit out any ban you see fit.

I would also like to extend my apology for the past 3 and 1/2 years that I have been evading for. Yet I hope you see that this was not an attempt to be malicious, but rather just a willingness to be back in the community. The activity and involvement in the community over the past few months has not been faked in an attempt to gain kudos ready for my pardon request either, in fact 3 years ago as you can imagine I never planned to admit my past and it was only in the last few days that I made the decision to confess. This is due to the fact that again, I have matured and realised it’s the best thing to do if I want to continue on in this community without secrets that could bite me in the future.

(Reading my original pardon request on 5tan is also quite embarrassing as I can see how fake it is. I took the inital infraction on "SmithyStanly" and "rock on bro" lightly and foolishly believed I would get away with breaking the rules just to avoid a ban. Yet all the requests contained the truth and nothing but. The requests that followed my initial one were also true and I was just trying to prove my innocence regarding the other accounts that were not my own (OGTrader,SSmithy and reaysmith))

In the end, ban evasion is still severe and if you feel I should be given an infraction, I completely respect and understand your decision. Yet I believe in the past I have been wrongly accused of evading multiple times with accounts I have never heard of or owned which has overshadowed my pardon requests (although with the information supplied and gained in previous requests and the absence of an ability to prove that I had no connection to (OGTrader,SSmithy and reaysmith) I completely understand why those assumptions were made). I just hope after further investigation you are able to see that the accounts mentioned (OGTrader,SSmithy and reaysmith) do not belong to me and that score can be set straight. Then the focus will be on my errors and banned accounts (SmithyStanly, rock on bro and 5tan) alone and a justified conclusion can be made.

Summary:

- I was initially banned for a short period for self vouching (SmithyStanly and rock on bro)
- I mistook this for a lifetime ban and instead of appealing, created a new account which evaded the ban (5tan)
- I was found out, yet when I began to request a pardon I was mistaken for the owner of a few other accounts. Resulting in me receiving a lifetime ban.
- I then created my current account (Sir Louis) to start over again as I felt I would never be able to be successfully pardoned with the accusations of ownership of the other accounts hanging over me.

- I believe I could have been safe just using Sir Louis for the rest of my time on Sythe. Yet I felt guilty that I was evading again just because I felt a pardon request would be unsuccessful because of the accusations.
- I therefore posted this thread to confess to my personal mistakes, and also attempt to clear my name and the shadow that was cast over me in my previous requests. I have supplied as much evidence as I can and hopefully the truth is evident to you.

- In all I feel the situation was blown massively out of proportion. I am not saying I am in anyway innocent, but I am not as guilty as I have been made out to be.

The first section of this case could also be classed as a Dispute I imagine, yet I felt the overriding nature was that of a Pardon.
