Well, I've seen many great feedbacks about sin666, it's time to point out a negative action here.
    http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=386650
V3nd3ta gets banned on the 25th of March, 2008,
A user called Straggler registers in September 2008.
    Ban evades in other words.
He gets himself a good position, many many posts recieves UE spot as well, what not.
Then on the 16th of September 2009, posts an appeal, which Sin666 yesturday accepts since the person who was scammed managed to recover his losses.

    My opinion:
Regardless of the fact whether the losses were covered or the V3nd3ta was hacked or what not, he ban evaded, which is against the rules.
I also believe that a rule that keeps some users banned, should keep all users banned.
Both accounts should be banned for ban evading, I've seen many cases similar to this where the person was hacked got banned ban evaded then got banned for ban evading. This case shouldn't differ either.

Theres a difference in evading a ban that was rightfully given than evading something that you think is/is wrong.

He got hacked, it's his responsibility, and instead of taking the time to get this story out of the way he ban evaded. He clearly knew ban evading was against the rules, and if not, he should've read the rules, tough luck.

So if you were hacked and nobody answered your ban appeal, you would just sit there and not go on sythe anymore? I highly doubt you would in this scenario. I think that you would evade because you knew for a fact that it wasn't your fault, and you would try to prove it later on.

It took me 3 months to even get a real response from someone that knew my situation..so i don't doubt that it could take a year or longer.

Straggler is an active user here, and is fairly well trusted. He was honest enough to come forward to admit the evasion before it was caught by a moderator, for which I offered leniency. Given the circumstances surrounding the ban, I have no reason to believe he is a risk to the community, and no permanent damage was reported to have been done while he was hacked.

As such, yes, I decided not to ban him, and I make no second-guesses about that decision.

The one who apparently got "scammed" got his account back anyways. Nothing was lost. Straggler got hacked, hacker scammed, the kid who got scammed got his account back. Nothing was lost -- He doesn't need to pay anything back, so he was free to make another account if he really wanted, imo.

I wasn't trying to be a suck-up, and I was already on the thread before Sin posted so I didn't see her post until after.

Well, of course I wouldn't. I probably don't posess such enthusiasm as she does but you wouldn't last 2 seconds either with sucking up.

Someone lock this pls, no need for more people to express how amazing sin666 really is, only hoping for simpathy in her eyes.
