Seriously Thinking about suicide

Main thing is get help. Not to put down someone of how selfish and "dumb" they are. These thoughts are not normal and can be helped, the only thing is being foolish not to go seek it.

 

No matter what, suicide isnt the answer.

I can personally say I've been through more shit than you, never have I once contemplated suicide, I have almost gone the wrong road in life to a bad future, but never suicide. What you're telling us is that you're weak mentally, emotionally, and psychologically. I suggest living life and mature up a bit, show everyone that you're a strong person, and that you can succeed even though you have many obstacles in your life. I'm sorry I came out a bit strong with my post, but everyone needs their wake up call sometime in their life, I'm just trying to help you out. If you're mature and smart, you will take my advice and continue living your life.

Suicide cannot and never will be the answer to anything. If you feel depressed listen to this. When my mom was growing up her dad died in prison and she never knew him, and her mom had a mental disability and was never able to be there. Her older brother was addicted to cocaine and died of a seizure when he was drunk. When she turned 18 her mom committed suicide. She always tells me that she would have committed suicide but there was a little tiny piece inside of her that told her you have to do something for the family name. She ended up working/attending school and payed for herself to go through college and law school. Take it from me, depression is not worth it because just look at what she was able to do from her crippled life.

For your actual depression. I recommend you talk to a counselor at your school or online. A very good online help place is www2.thehopeline.com/. They have helped so many people with drugs/sex/abuse/suicide/ect. If you have a really good friend, some one you can trust and is serious, I would recommend you tell them all of this. I reassure that if you are good friends they will comfort you and give you good advice.

Just remember you have one life, it is not worth taking away when there is so much more opportunity in the world.

How far has bitching & moaning got you with your "depression"? You said it took you 5 years to overcome, looks like you're the one who has no idea what they're talking about. Leave it to the people who can actually handle their problems to give out the advice.

If your families been through all that pain already with several members of the family dying, why would you put your family through more pain by killing yourself. Just keep hope and do stuff you like and eventually you won't be depressed and you can continue living life to the fullest.
