    September the 11

So today is the 9ᵗʰ anniversary of the events that took place in the United States.

I want to make this a discussion though, do you think that the American reaction, in this case the Afghanistan war, has actually lessoned the worth of the lives lost. I believe so, as two wrongs do not make a right, and the killings and mistreatment of innocent Afghan civilians has lessoned my sympathy for the event.

    Thoughts please.

Tbh, I stopped giving a shit years ago. Worse has happened in other parts of the world and we don't recognize it as much as we do this.

I do not agree with the discrimination against middle eastern people and I feel sorry for them, having to put up with it.

    Sad day,

    I agree with you.

Sending troops over there and iraq is just pointless. More people are getting killed and hurt some did nothing wrong.

    Punishing Petter for Pauls mistakes...

I think it was all planned to simply give us a reason to go over there, but still a sad day nonetheless and i wish it never would have happened.

I don't think the Iraq war had anything to do with September the 11ᵗʰ. I meant the Afghanistan war as it was a direct result of the attacks.

I believe 9/11 was a conspiracy organized by George Bush. President George W Bush signed presidential decision directive W 199I telling FBI agents as well as Defensive intelligence officers that if they tried to stop 9/11 they would be arrested under national security implications its been in ever publication from the wall street journal to the Washington Times actual law suites have no been filed by FBI agents who are outraged by the fact they were not aloud to stop 9/11 the global crimes indicate that George W Bush and his family fronts for has everything to gain from the September 11th attacks A nation ID card, A national control grid, A cashless society, It's part of the public record George Bush signed the documents threating defensive intelligence officers and FBI agents would be arrest if the tried to stop the 9/11 attacks this is the most absolutely treasonous treacherous thing he could possible do George Bush IS a mass murder.

Of course 9/11 was a horrible tragedy, but I think Americans were way in over their heads with the war. I mean, look what it turned into. But seriously, what was President Bush supposed to do? The public wouldn't let him just do nothing.

Did you personally call people in those areas and ask them? If you didn't, then you shouldn't be so sure. Prime time news is often biased and only shows you what you want to see.

So George Bush orchestrated the killing of 3000 people just so he could benefit himself? As much as you all hate him, that's certainly not in his character. This idea is simply stupid.

OT: I don't really think that the American parliament had much of a choice. The media would have demolished him if he had not gone into Afghanistan. Although it's still a big issue in America, he got re-elected so he must have done something right...

Tbh, i couldn't give a shit. These slums are still fighting over their cookie in Israel and will continue to do so for years to come. You can't deal with the middle east, it's unapproachable. I feel bad for hard working honest people there, but either you dig yourself out, or you stay in the hole. What do i think of September 11? It's 18 days before my birthday, that's all.

Yes lets just stop caring about the people protecting you from ever getting killed in your own country by terrorists. w000!!!

Most people do care about us being there for them. We are training iraqi and afghan soldiers everyday. We are fighting next to them and they are fighting next to us.

Now it's harder for me to get on a plane because they think I shoved C-4 up my ass. I should be grateful for that?

Not just that, what about all the people who were simply trying to help that got killed, over 330 firefighters died trying to help. The wars, the hate between people in iraq and usa... Its not fair any way you look at it.
