    Also the cycles tend to match indirectly the economic cycles of the first world.

    When times are good / booming people are busy and working hard they don't have time for deep immersion. They've got a couple hours on the weekend to spend blowing some shit up on their console/computer.

    When times are not so good people are out of work and bored and looking for deep immersion. If anything we're heading back into that last atm.

    Runescape is done. It's time to move on and turn this site into a universal gaming market, with no direct focus or tie to an individual game the way we have done with Runescape. The longer we wait to see the outcome of Runescape is the longer we neglect the potential to receive unique members at a leading rate. We're currently shuffling existing/banned members. Runescape has capped at drawing fresh users a very long time ago.

    Runescape is done in the sense that the potential cap for fresh users was reached long ago. Most of the ranks on this site are Runescape related. Nothing really has changed. Adding more games to the market, while still using Runescape as a nucleus to draw in members obstructs that goal.

    this seems risky as well because as you know a lot of your current user base has a core relation to runescape.

    personally, i absolutely love the ranks you've made (the santas especially) and that's one of the main things that drew me into this forum so i wouldn't like to see that changed. changing the ranks all together could prove risky.

    i personally suggest a toggle option where a user can decide to keep the theme runescape related or have the new generic ranks displayed.

    The ranks need to be changed. This was once a runescape related forum. It now belongs to memes of harambe.

    matthew posted essentially saying with the current ranks, new ranks, and legacy donor ranks that's 3 sets which would be a pain in the ass for a number of reasons he stated that i dont remember
