Of course everyone has their own opinions on what they think sounds good, but what I said is a fact. Metal takes a much greater amount of talent than screamo, so metal fans tend to be insulted when the two are compared.

Lol you want facts? The only facts you need are in the music. It's not hard to depict which genre takes more talent after listening to each. I know I could find plenty of websites stating why metal is better than screamo, but I think that should be up to you to do. I'm not even disrespecting your opinion. Everyone has a right to listen to what they enjoy, but don't try to argue about something you obviously know nothing about.
