Explanation of the trade: Agreed to purchase 1.8b at .47 per m sending a total of .02309997 BTC
How they scammed: Confirmed first BTC payment of $134 was received prior to sending remaining owed of $712. RNG has not responded since BTC was confirmed received. No gold has been received for any amount.

I have taken the time to look into this and done all I can up until now to try and help. I have also recently spoken with Jeff about this and told him the following:

1. The trade took place in pms and we strictly maintain rules of not doing anything in pms.

2. I have been constantly trying to get in touch with RNG but haven't received any answers.

Rules in our server include the following :

We hold the right to assume that you have read the contents of this message, and those found in #trading-tos, #service-tos and #trading-safety, before initiating in any trade."

"1. This server has NO open market. You may only conduct trades with designated members of staff. Standard trading rules are applied in this server. We do not allow scamming in our server, in private messages via our server or in game."

The user in question is part of a team I have worked with for a long time, roughly 2 years, and I do not expect this is a scam situation and I fully expect him to be back in touch however the length of time and the circumstances of course are totally out of order and unacceptable.

Unfortunately in this particular case, as the trade was done outside of or server ticketing system and in private, we (Scotch Gold) cannot be held responsible as per our terms.

I will make sure to ban the user R N G from our server and delete my sythe signature as it has his user name and ID on it, while this is being looked into

 

The pm was to discuss rates, can show u records of trades in our tickets.

And I wont be refunding something that I never recieved or never knew about also. Plus Iam myself owed 200$ from RNG and have been waiting myself which I can prove also.
