So, are you suggesting we make a sticky and have people submit scammer's paypal addresses with proof they scammed so people can check that before they trade?

 

1. Okay, again you're not listening. We do not have to do scammer OR spammer reports in order to meet that quota. Reports are not even close to the only way to meet the quota and many mods do so without doing any of them.

2. Perhaps you need to think about what you say before you say it? We're going to "read into it" because your argument is flawed. There is NOTHING that could have prevented you from using an MM for that kind of trade. Give the MM the money and account details (enough to recover). MM changes info and gives to other user to skill. When the service is done, he changes the information back, gives you the account and the trainer the money. Do not sit here and tell me you don't use MM's for that kind of a trade. It's utter bull.

3. Changing your IP has nothing to do with a proxy. You can EASILY change your IP and not use a proxy. Using a proxy hides your IP, not changes it.

Look bud. The deal was he was going to train my accounts skills (for free). How does a MM do anything in that trade? You don't even know what the trade was but your acting like you do. Next time educate yourself first.

 

Not everyone would would remember or read to post the PayPal of the scammer. Remember that moderators are volunteers, they do not even have to do them at all.

 

I thought you were over-exaggerating it until I looked in the section and saw reports unanswered from 3 months ago.

And people wonder why Sythe is home for the scammers..

And mods are pretty lazy lol. You see them spending their time in the spam forum making shitty jokes rather than doing reports/regulating their sections.

And.. Spam reports are nothing compared to scammer reports, so don't reply saying you do reports all the time.

Another thing to mods: We understand you don't have to do that shit, but would it kill you to help out more?

Unless you have any suggestions there's not point posting. A lazy mod is still better than a complaining user giving no suggestions.

 

You guys do good, but maybe a commission or reward for those who massively answer reports.

If you all just post correct proof, showing everything and the clear scam, your report will be answered soon.

You have absolutely no idea. If the mods did nothing, they would not be mods. Period. If your feedback is just flaming mods for "not doing enough", you just need to shut up since you know nothing at all and if you don't have a suggestion to help the problem you see you are merely wasting everyone's time by complaining about something you do not even have any knowledge about.

You defend yourself when someone pulls into question your ability to do something. You've questioned the way I do scammer reports, I have defended myself. Thus you have pulled me out of RaS to answer this horrible thread you have created.

Yeah pictures are better than videos. I still look at videos though. The reason is that videos get produced with horrible quality, and you can't see certain important details.

Since your so sure that murder= scamming. Murder requires 100% beyond reasonable doubt to convict the suspect. There is doubt, and btw there isn't enough evidence for a conviction. So he's not banned.

Only admins can IP ban, and it will take far too long to put ALL the scammer that are banned through. Plus IP addresses can always be changed. What does this have to do with your thread though?

Screenshots of a trade clearly showing a scam (the entire conversation, not a single picture). Provide that and I'll ban him.

Judging by this thread, it's safe to assume you'd ban people with very little amounts of proof, creating large amounts of disputes and creating more work for the moderators that handle these things.

Therefore its safe to assume you'd do a bad job.

Yes but again I'll reiterate that this is about the moderators not banning scammers even though you think adequate proof is provided. If these moderators are kept to the standards of RaS your thread would still not be considered enough for a ban.

No my point is that if I'm doing badly at school, I'm not going to spend hours doing scammer reports. I'm going to concentrate on school. This is exactly what happened last November with me, my final exams came up and I was getting the lowest moderator logs because I was studying rather than actually moderating.

My point is that you have proved my point with the above.

The example you have provided shows inadequate proof, making your whole arguement flawed. So you've changed the subject to getting more moderators to cover the work that the current moderators aren't doing, which wouldn't make your report be accepted either btw.

So how do you deal with this? How about not provide a leecher with no proven track record access to your account? If it wasn't a leecher, use that awesome search function in the RaS section to search for his name/email to see how many scammer reports are out against him.

Not that difficult.

 

^ This. Once again, we're being forced to repeat things we have already stated. Moderators need a certain amount of mod logs to remain as mods. If they didn't do shit they wouldn't be mods, the admins would have demoted them long ago.

 

Now since this thread has become what Finn would call a "Cesspool", We're going to be locking it. There is no point whatsoever in continuing this discussion.
