Scammer report on Tand123

Roughly a week ago I purchased a 300$ account from "tand123" on playerauctions. He had 50 sales, 98% positive feedback, and he was a verified seller, so I thought there was no way in hell this guy would scammed me.

I was wrong.

When I bought the account the information given was completely wrong, I instantly messaged playerauctions and they told me try to resolve it within 12 hours, and then if I couldn't, open a dispute. I waited well past 12 hours, he said multiple times he has changed the password/email so I would have it, but those were all lies. I opened up a dispute, and a long couple day process they replied with this:



They ruled in his favor, even though I had full evidence that he scammed me, and his evidence was typing my email into a box and taking a screenshot of it.

He deleted his playerauctions account right after he posted his last message in the dispute:

He is now trying to sell accounts here on sythe, and notice he doesn't mention he's from playerauctions anymore, a verified seller, using the same lines of trying to support his family, trying to find his next victim:

The login didn't work, so then he claimed he changed the email of the account over to mine, as you can see there is no account registered to my email for "[email protected]":


I then attempted to recover the account with the information he gave me, which of course was false so the recovery wasn't successful:


You can see the username of the account he "gave" me, looked it up on the hiscores. Does this account look like 2k+ total level acc? Of course not, it was a false account:


But want to know what looks like the account I bought? The account he's advertising selling on sythe, a verified playerauctions seller with a deleted account trying to get some osrs gold:

Moral of the story is he scammed me out of 300$ (+30$ for the insurance I bought with the account which PA isn't even allowing me to get it back). Playerauctions ruled on his side even though the evidence is substantial that he scammed me. Care to comment @tand123 and @PlayerAuctions I'd really love to see what you guys can come up with this time against all this evidence.

Hello there, I made a public post on our thread about that; this has been ruled out in favor of the seller since, as per the support team's comment, the evidence was insufficient and there were no replies from you after that. Sythe team can decide on tand123 here, but we cannot interfere or affect their decision on this.

He posted last minute before you guys locked the thread and you guys want to call that me not replying? He had 0 evidence, just look at my evidenxe on here, and on the dispute. You have to be protecting your "verified seller" trying to cover for this.

 

@medicinalmarijuana I sent you everything about the account I advertised. You are claiming I scammed you when I did NOT. I don't understand how you can come up wiht this much fake evidence and have MY account and still try to gain money, attention or something. Just enjoy the account you paid for that was advertised and move on.

 

I'm going through this trouble because it's the truth, you scammed me and got away with it. I guarantee you you don't understand what I go through to make a dollar, as someone else stated above I have evidence, you just say "I didn't".

 

PA pmed me and said they want proof like this:

That doesn't even look like a real email jagex would ever send lmao, let alone I would never get that because I've never logged on the account because I never got it.

 

Jagex does send emails similar to that. Send them an email and they will tell you youre linked to that acount

 

Did you even look at the evidence? I posted an email of all emails linked to my axcount, the one you "gave" me isn't attached to my enail.

 

@tand123 has been given a DNT and will have to return/refund the account or he will be banned.

 

Is there a timeline on this?

 

@Pendulum shouldn't @PlayerAuctions get any form of punishment I hate it when shit like this happens and people don't take responsibility when they clearly should...

 

I don't have much say, but I agree. Player auctions only protects their sellers, even if they do scam. And even with insursnce and proof, they have still denied any refund in my past 10 tickets to them.

 

yh its a god damn monopoly even this site if someone scams $1000 and they only get caught red handed for $700 if they refund just that $700 they get a TWC and can continue when a bad PM gets you the same its so stupid. Hopefully a new site can sort things out or maybe these sites can fix up -.-. Honestly, I'm sick and tired of it been scammed probably over a bil on sythe by $500 donors $100 donors and what not anyways rant over

Playerauctions Issues Resolution Thread

@video has already stated that the playerauctions account is only for PR releated purposes and they do not actively use this website to trade. Therfore all disputes are put in that thread for pa related disputes.

This dispute is against somebody who is a sythe member however so it falls under sythes jurisdiction.

 

Could still give them a TWC to protect sythe users just my opinion
