Rather than people post their own threads and them all be different, they should make a system much like the "Report Post" mechanics.

For example, you click "Report a Scammer" in the section, and it gives you boxes where you have to give the scammer's sythe name, their thread (if they have one), brief explanation of events, proof etc etc rather than a very general format where they get mixed results.

Having a correct format does speed up the time it takes to thoroughly go through the scam report, to see if it's warrant for a ban.

And tbh, every since Gohan left, RaS section has seen less attention, but it does get some.

Avery arguing a point thats been understood by everyone else is going to get no where. Everyone is trying to answer your question but you are going back to this or that, its well known you made your point. X-mass is saying if people posted in the correct format it would be quicker for each process of the ban which means more can be gone though in the same amount of time. I posted my report on a scammer and i had no clue who scammed me i only knew his ip the ip was looked up and the guy was banned within 1-2 days. I can't ask for anything more it was looked at and the mod had to do alot of work to find the guy i posted what i had i used a omm, i posted his ip chat logs and Runescape chat logs of the guy trying to hold my account hostage. Mods are defiantly getting there work done, but honestly all the mods i knew of besides kero is gone now.

People are saying it's their own fault if people cannot post the scam report in the correct format, however what you have to understand is that the people who do not post in the correct format waste staff time, time of which could be used to ban those with suffice proof.

I think that with the large number of staff there already are (11 sectionals, 5 globals) 7 pages of scam reports dating up to a week back is unacceptable. Admins should employ people who have time to get the work done, not those who are too busy to do their fair share.

Then what the FUCK is your god damn point?
    Reports being ignored?
    Reports not being read?
RaS section loading up with reports?

My answer to ALL that is, if people would post properly.
It would take considerably less time for a mod to go through it and ban the person.

If you got accused on scamming, and you didn't do it, would you like a 10 second decision made? Even if the report is complete shit and is lacking crucial information? No. You wouldn't

    What is your damn point?

You can't rely on people getting the form right 100% of the time, it's just not realistic due to the large amount of new members constantly joining, not everyone knows the rules. OP is trying find another way around the problem, namely employing more mods or having mods put more work into scam reports.

Sure we can use another mod or two, but still.
New members not reading the stickies defeats the purpose of even having the stickies in the first place.

Why have stickies there if people won't use them 100%.

Stickies are meant to help people, if you got scammed. You need to read the stickies.

    Sticky for everything.

Each one of those is a sticky.

Why won't new members take the time to read them? Sure.. there are like 7. But all 7 have different scenarios and information needed.

They are there for a reason.

I agree that people should read the stickies, however most new members don't and that is what is creating the issue. I feel that having a report form similar to the report a spammer one would work well, however until that is implemented (if ever) there needs to be another solution to the problem. Obviously you can't force people to read the stickies, so the only other option seems to be to tackle the problem head on and filter out the bad reports manually. While this is not an ideal solution, it seems to be the most effective way of dealing with it, and until another method becomes available (formatted report form) there's not a lot that can be done.

I do know, on rsbots.net (their forums) when you try to create a new thread in their Bot Support (After you pick what bot)
There is a template that is already in the message window.

This is what you do when you create a new thread on rsbots.net forum.

Doing this would kick ass, in RaS section.

Christmas, even with people posting CORRECT FORMATS, the reports aren't getting sorted. So I don't understand why you keep saying it will get sorted if people used the correct format, because that's obviously not the case.

If the thread isn't in the correct format, lock it without an explanation. Maybe then people will actually use the right format.

There needs to be more mods, there obviously aren't enough and with Gohan, Haha and FireZ all out, that makes it even worse.

The reports have been cleared out by myself and KeroKero. Hopefully now that they've been hacked down, we can keep them down. This takes effort from both staff and users. If you report someone, Please, for the love of god, Use the correct format, and post the raw image links for us, or even better yet, use an [IMG]
