savages/ lizard squad issue

As of late we have had a few ddos issues, and when this player gets banned the servers get knocked off. I think its almost embarrassing that a single player has put a entire company on its knees. Regardless of his position in lizard squad, i think its outrageous how they let him play the game and do as he wants.

Recently Zezima was hacked and it was said it was done by savaged/ lizard squad. What will make jagex take action and finally stop this. They seem to want to ignore the issue and pretend he is going to go away. Jagex is a really weak company and have continued to show it through poor choices.

Any opinions on the topic would be nice to hear.

 

You think Jagex is the only company that isn't able to stop lizard squad?
Why don't you say anything about the billion dollar companies like Microsoft or Sony that are being attacked constantly by lizard squad and aren't able to stop it?

 

Lizard squad are very powerful runescape isnt the only that has been affected. THere is not much RS can do until big companies like Sony find a way to stop it because the big companies can afford to invest tonnes of money to find a solution while Jagex cant do that.

 

Well I'm sure Jagex has tried to do an IP ban on him once or twice, but it's extremely easy to bypass that. I'm also 100% sure that if Savaged is the one doing this shit, then he's definitely going to be using a VPN, they can try to ban his plethora of different IP addresses, but there's no real way to stop him, unless they were to find his IRL name/information and press charges.

 

OP is talking about how his rsn Savaged isn't banned, Jagex knows he's responsible but won't ban him because if he does get happened their could quite possibly be no working worlds at all, last time Savaged got muted all the worlds kept dcing.

 

Just don't give Lizard Squad any attention, that's all they want. Eventually they'll get bored and move on.

 

Jagex's best move is to not give them any attention. I'm sure the bigger fish have people looking into them. If they can't catch them then Jagex would only burning money trying to do the same with a smaller budget

 

If Microsoft and Sony cant stop them Jagex stands no chance.

Jagex isn't doing anything about it? Why would they? Banning accounts that are to have connections with any of the ddosers would just make the situation worse and aggravate who ever it is thats doing it.

Nothing on a small scale can be done about this.

 

I think its very sad that people would go out of their way to disrupt the game play for others, for no obvious gain. These kids or young people are not gaining anything other than the satisfaction of annoying other people and you have to say, that is quite disturbing and you wonder how mentally stable these people are.

 

I just want to know why companies like Microsoft and Sony haven't come together to invest in catching them. No one is 100% safe and they could be caught. I just don't get why they don't put in the time and money. They obviously have enough of both.

 

If jagex banned him and the worst were like they used to be, dcing every 5mins, im sure u would be complaining at jagex for banning him

 

RS hasn't been lagging that much for me, but it DC's alot.

 

iwould rather not play for a month and pay than have a person not deal with justice who thinks he or she is greater or God like. Its a decent sacrifice i can live with.

 

Spoke to fast. Server just DC'd. Even if they did ban him what if he never stopped DDoSing for over an month? What then?

 

Weren't they a bunch of skids ddosing games like gw2 etc?

 

Maybe they're not banning him in hopes of him logging in at a home IP and getting caught?

Realistically they're bound to mess up eventually.

In a youtube video, the LS member aka Savaged stated that jagex has under 20 servers for ALL of runescape while microsoft has over 300,000. They took down XBL, they can EASILY keep runescape down if they wanted to. Better to not mess with them.

 

I agree with this, people want to act like children let them, but stay clear.

 

is that guy still unbanned?
