santa hat vs 99 farming

ok guys, I have a santa hat and I've been currently rc'ing (got 99) to get the cash for 99 farming.
My point is, I could sell the hat and bank 99 farming and then not have to rc for money. and could use my time for better things, like getting another 99 alongside it, like mining for example.

The reason I got a santa mostly was as an investment for the future (will probably be taking a year or 2 off by the end of this year), will santa's rise over time?

Why do you want to get 99 farming so bad? If you want, you can get 99 farming for free by doing warbands.

 

I just fancy a couple of 99's I always liked before I quit near the end of the year (life reasons). after that it will be at least a year or so before I can re-play

Santas won't necessarily increase a large amount over the course of 1-2 years, the prices have been stable for a very long time. If you don't have a huge bank though, I wouldn't recommend spending it on fast farming exp like magic trees and such, because there really isn't any payoff for training the skill that high currently.

I would do mid level trees like maples and make back the cash on herb farming. Getting 99 farming isn't a grind anyway since you can just plant, log out, wait, log in, plant.

Also, how the hell did you stand to do any sort of moneymaking RC method now that there's Runespan?

 

is this a srs question? Exp > GP. Get that 99, dang. Santas are useless and don't even rise that much. They're not impressive to own meanwhile also.

 

If you're attached to it, keep it. If you're gonna take a loss, just wait it out and do some other skills while you wait for it to increase in price.

If you just don't care, sell it and get the 99.

 

Santas will not rise by ALOT. Tehy will decrease and increase around 20m range

 

99farming will get you the cash to get a santa. worth it more in the end. Santa's aren't cute anyways

keep the santa, no need for effort to train any skills, 99 farming will do you no good, the santa could potentially rise a lot you never know

Definitely go for 99 farming, discontinued items are truly a waste of money - their only real use is a store of wealth as they are a hedge against inflation.
