Samsung Galaxy S2 VS iPhone 4S! - POLL -

I dunno why but i cant stand touch phones.. i prefer to push buttons which is exactly why i went with and older black berry becase all the new ones were touch. Anyways from what ive seen Samsung Galaxy is alot better then the iphone 4S for sure but i think there is some sort of price difference which makes up for it..

 

In Australia at least, I believe the SGS2 is cheaper than the iPhone 4S, you can pick up an SGS2 on a $29 a month plan for free, but for an iPhone it's not until around the $59 plan where the phone comes free.

 

Ive got a 4s and i love it, its so hawt. friend has an s2 and he thinks its pretty flash too

 

I actually had this debate too... I ended up going with the Galaxy S2. There are definitely pros and cons of both. Sometimes I am really happy with my choice (especially when I look at my screen size) and sometimes I regret it and want the Iphone. They are about equal and it depends on what your needs are.

 

iPhone 4S by far, better customer support, doesn't lag compared to the S2, and iPhone's have been around for a while, android is a copycat.

 

What do you mean lag? The Galaxy has better specs and the iPhone doesn't even support 4g. Also... Time around != how good something is.

And it's been essentially proven that the companies that build Apple products use children as young as 11 as laborers and during major product releases (all Apple products) make all of their workers work for 16 hour days. They also can not make a sound on the factory floor or they are fired. That is what you are supporting when you buy Apple. Just to let you fan boys know.

 

I have almost great experience for this topic lol. I purchased the Iphone 4gs in early December. On the 19th I dropped it when I was sitting Indian style and the screen shattered. It was an okay phone siri was not that great of a thing to me. The people at the apple store offered another and I got it and gave it to my mom for christmas. I wanted to switch things up and got an HTC Inspire. It only took me 4 minutes to unlock and begin to use. The speeds are incredible and I love the larger screen. I have not used the Galaxy yet but I know that I enjoyed my Iphones but this Inspire is so much better.

 

Customer support? You only really need it if you are completely illiterate. Have you ever heard of XDA?

Lag? I hope you are trolling.

Copycat? Android's market has more free apps than the iStore. There are also more droids on the market than iphones.

 

I had this same choice when I was going to buy a new phone like a month ago, I decided to go with the Galaxy S2 because of 4G and faster CPU, haven't regretted my choice one bit .

 

I'm not really an apple fan, but I have to say, having both phones at the same time, I tend to use my iPhone 4S more then my Gally. I would say there are many picky things that I would like changed. One, the camera sort of is... Well... Lacking, when compared to the 4S. The autofocus is frankly a joke, so is the oddly small keyboard, and the weird preinstalled apps that were a pain to uninstall. The build was nice, but the back started coming off quite easily after awhile, sort of annoying. Will just have to wait for ICS to come to the Gally.

The iphone on the other hand, has an overflowing app store (500,000 compared to the 300,000 on Android), great camera, and icing on the cake like Siri, solid build, and the user-friendly iOS is a relief to use unlike Android, which suffers incompatibility issues, etc.

By the way, why compare the Gally which was released like 8 months before the Iphone? In 8 months, lots happen. It would be better to pit the iphone against the nexus or RAZR.

 

Don't like many apple products besides the iPod, not sure why.. but I think the Galaxy is more user friendly and I have several friends who've had iPhone's and they've gone faulty or broken easily, not sure if that's a common thing, though.
