Safest way?

Alright so I plan to either buy 1.4b cash or a 1.4b item. Is one way safer than the other or does it just not really matter? Thought item might be safer because people borrow gear from friends.
Would a trade this big still fall under RWT minor if I were to get caught or is it RWT major? Don’t want a perma. (0 offences on account with couple 1000 hours on it)
Also heard people say their coins got removed through wealth removal, after buying coins. I wonder if they’d delete the item if you bought it as the item, or would wealth removal still take whatever coins you got?
